I would really like to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but… All the staff that we came in contact with were very friendly, I also only saw four of them, they were very understaffed. I didn’t mind the polite suggestions to sit elsewhere, order otherwise in order to avoid a longer wait, I didn’t necessarily even mind the expected longer wait since it was clear walking in that there would be one. The real frustration came when we checked out and realized we’d been charged ‘extra’ for things that, according to their menu, were included in the price of our meals. We don’t eat out often and for the $30 this meal cost us, the wait combined with the hidden costs simply wasn’t worth it for us.
Ordered a turkey club. What I received was simply turkey and mayo on toast nothing else. Not ordering from Shari's again. Ridiculous!
Our bacon cheeseburgers were okay, the french fries were luke warm. My one star rating comes from how I was treated by the manager. I ordered $27.54 worth of food and tipped $3.46. I waited outside in the grass for my order. The male manager comes outside and tells me to leave. He lacks human decency when speaking with the public. He could have said, May I help You? To which I would have responded with, I am waiting for my order. Instead he lost a customer and a person that works Ubereats and Doordash, I will never accept his orders nor will I be placing any in the future. My suggestion sir is to learn how to speak to people with some amount of respect and human decency. Having a transient problem doesn’t give you the privilege to treat people poorly.
Service was very slow and the seats were very old and had duct tape. Food was good.
I hadnt been in Shari's in a quick minute and the Cherry Pie shake I had with my boyfriend (he had a Dutch apple shake) were incredible. Our waitress was the sweetest, best customer service for her to be doing all the work except cooking. The cooks were visible friendly and talkative and I always enjoy the environment in there.
The quality of food was pretty bad my mother had loaded hash browns and the green onions in them were very wilted and as somebody who has worked in the food industry before that is not okay. It's simple you either serve quality food or you don't yes the food industry can be stressful but clearly they don't know how to take inventory and knowing what needs to be replaced with fresh ingredients. And the way the pies were presented to us just tells me that some folks that are working at this one clearly don't want to be there. You don't just slam the pie onto the plate a little bit of culinary presentation makes a big difference. And this was on my wife's birthday too we will not be going back anytime soon. And seeing the other one-star reviews I'm completely disgusted in what happened to them.
Fast, friendly service and good food at reasonable prices make Shari's the perfect stop for me and my family. I like the way the night manager, Cregg, takes the time and effort to interact with the customers. He is always pleasant and personable.
I wish I could rate 0 stars.... this was BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I've ever experienced in my life... they didn't care about us after we had placed our order, an hour later they brought us the coldest food I've ever seen a restaurant try to serve to anyone... the food had been sitting there for 20 minutes and was ready to be brought to the table but nope they would rather let it get cold before bringing it to the tables
Fast polite service although the eggs benedict seemed to lack the flavor I expected. The hollandaise was, in my opinion, rather bland.
Shari's used to be our favorite place to eat out. The last few years it has been going downhill fast. Decided to give it one more chance for breakfast this morning. We had to share a glass of water. When the food arrived was cold. Hashbrowns were barely browned, bacon cold, French toast cold....We tried but will not return.
