Happened to be in Cheyenne for my 45th birthday and found Ike's on the map as the closest bar to where I was staying. I'm so lucky this was the place I found. From the moment I walked in the staff were polite, fun, engaging, and taking excellent care of you. The food was awesome, especially the cheese curds. There are tons of alcohol options as well as beers on tap or bottles. I arrived just after noon and stayed until close. The entire staff at Ike's made my birthday one of the best days I've had in a long time!
We had the opportunity to get to Ike's on Saturday, after a long morning of work at the fairgrounds, and we were absolutely pleased with the service and the food. The soup of the day - a steak and mushroom chowder - was amazing in its depth of flavor; the Philly cheesesteak was amazingly fresh - and my wife declared the Reuben one of the best she'd ever ordered (I'd agree). If you haven't, you owe it to yourself to check Ike's out - family owned, cool vibe, great drinks and a menu that has something for everyone.

Unfortunately I wanted to really like this place. It seemed to be very understaffed. Our waitress was very nice. Not sure if she was new, but she had no clue. We were patient, but when other people came in way after us got their meals, before us it was irritating. After waiting 50 minutes our daughter finely got her cheese pizza. About 10 minutes later they brought out my husband’s and second child’s meal. I asked if my meal and son’s meal was coming. We were told yes soon. After a long wait my meal finally came out. Everyone else was done. My son still hadn’t got his meal. We decided it had been too long and to have them box it up. The manager and a few other staff came to speak to us. Our meal was comped, but never saw the owner step in and help out. Looked like a great place, but needs a lot of work. Would have liked to have seen the manager step in and help out to ensure the customers got their food in a timely manner.
Great food, great service. Love the sandwiches and the salad bar. This place is great!!!
You can tell that all the staff care about the customer. Even the owner was around serving food and double checking that everything was up to everyone's liking.Will absolutely be going back and referring people!
Just went for the first time for a birthday party. The service was fantastic. Our waitress Allison was fabulous. She helped make it a great experience. Was fabulous with helping with the surprise cake. Food was wonderful. Little hiccup with it but they made sure to take care of it without us even saying anything. Highly recommend. Great place!
Starting with the good. Our served was friendly and attentive. Salad bar is adequate and not warm. Now for the bad. Got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and the fried chicken sandwich. They were McDonald’s/Tyson quality patties and instant mashed potatoes for 13 and 15 bucks. Definitely a rip off. I understand this is supposed to be bar food but I’ve had quality bar food and this doesn’t even come close. You’d definitely have to be drunk to not notice the lack of effort, flavor and quality for price point. Also the fries on our kids meals were gray.
Lunch for 4. Waited 25 minutes for initial server to come over. He left menus no drinks and after 20 more minutes came back. Took the orders and another 25 minutes food arrived. Cool and other party's apetizon our bill. $$$ for what you get. Loud music and noise made it impossible to hear or have conversation. Won't go back. Food not good enough to give second chance.
When they first opened the food was good and the service was good but now neither is true. If you just want to visit with friends it’s an okay place, atleast you won’t have to worry about anyone asking you if you want anything. The bartender , with his cap on backwards, will be leaning on the back of the bar on his phone and picking his nose. If you do get to order drinks, they may or may not have alcohol in them. If you order a mushroom and Swiss burger that’s what you’ll get, a burger with Swiss cheese and sliced, raw mushrooms.
