It very much looks and feels like a cheap Starbucks knock off. Zero originality. I ordered a black coffee, it was so terrible I threw it away. That made me sad as it was early and we were about to start an 8 hour drive and I was very much looking forward to drinking my coffee on the road. My son ordered some flavored, sweetened (in my opinion monstrosity) then made fun of me for ordering plain coffee from a shop like that. He said and I quote, "of course the coffee is bad that's why they dress it up with all that junk." I'm sorry I like my coffee with just beans and water and expect it to taste like heaven in a cup. The employees were less than welcoming and not friendly in the least, I really wanted to take my $5 tip back. Idk what was worse the fact that I paid to throw away the coffee or the fact that I tipped them.To sum it up: No, I don't recommend City Brew Coffee.
Small, but bright, cheery, and energetic. The staff was great, too-- they accidentally gave me the wrong size, but even after I insisted it was fine, the guy I paid still came over and gave me another drink the right size.
The service here has really gone downhill this past year. Ordered two drinks today and had to throw them out. Makes me sad, used to be my go to coffee shop.
I get being busy and understaffed, but this was an awful first time experience. Waited over 30 minutes for one drink, which would have been fine if I ever got confirmation that it was the correct drink.My name was never called, but I saw the drink up there after the person who ordered before me got their drinks. I tried to ask one worker twice if this was my drink, and she ignored me. I finally got the other worker to respond, but she didn’t know and said she would ask the worker who ignored me when she was less busy. After being there that long and waiting another 5 minutes for a response, I finally just took the drink and left.I am dissatisfied because it was a special order with almond milk (my fiance can’t have regular milk) so it was important that it was right. I opened the drink to look at it and it wasn’t even filled to the top…after I tasted the drink, it was clearly something minty, not the white chocolate mocha I ordered.Very very disappointing for our first visit. I don’t mind waiting when someone is busy, but being ignored is not right. Feel like I got ripped off after paying $6 for the drink and leaving a $1.50 tip because I realized they were busy when ordering.
My first time thriugh the City Brew drive through was great! I received a gift card and had to try it out. It was lunch time and I needed a drink and a snack. They have so many food options I didn't know about and even vegetarian & plant based options! I highly reccomened the plant based sandwhich! The frappe was a little different tasting than I had expected, but because of the awesome & super quick service, I will definitely be back to try something else! Only $10 for a sandhwhich and large drink. Thanks Jamie & the other barista, I didn't catch her name!
My mom went in and brought a gift card! The lady who helped her wiped her nose multiple times, she had no gloves on and continued to wipe her nose on her hand!! Can we say gross! Plus I told my mom she should of told the lady she works for the health department!! All I can say is Wow!!
I’m pretty sure they open at 5:30? I come here every Saturday, I don’t usually have an issue. But the last two Saturdays they haven’t been answering the drive or unlocking the doors on time. it’s now 5:45 and I’m still waiting in drive there are also two people waiting at the front door but they are also locked and not opened.
Took 15 min to get the worst coffee I've ever had for $6! Avoid this place if you can or feel taken advantage of. A group of four who came in after me was served before me! WTH!Get a better system and some better ratios on how you mix your specialty drinks. This drink taste like dirt.
I was actually at Jersey Mike's.They are the BEST around. Real Philly style steaks and hoagies.
I hate giving bad ratings to service workers since I spent so many years working in the service industry myself. :( I’m all too familiar with what a thankless industry it is and how often people take out their irrelevant frustrations on the person serving them. However, this is either the THIRD or FOURTH time I have made a trip across town (mine was closed) to order at this City Brew only for them to have closed early. :( So sad when I’m trying to take one of my kids as a treat and then they’re disappointed. #FirstWorldProbs I tell ya! ? FYI- this SS was taken AFTER sitting at the screen to order for minutes. I’m unsure exactly how many ski won’t state that. Notice the time of my screenshot compared to their stated closing time?
