Found them on the quest for good pizza and they did not disappoint! great little hidden gem!
I have never been one to review bars, but this is one to remember. Not only are the drinks really good, but so is the pizza. If you haven ever been and are in the dells, check it out. The visitors are friendly, drinks are made with care, and the food, especially the pizza is worth the drive. Don't miss it :—) overlooking a beautiful lake.
Not impressed, never received appetizer, had to ask for silverware, pizza was not good. Don’t play pool they have no cue ball.
Used to be our go-to pizza when we visited The Dells. Tonight I called and was told they use door dash or uber eats now for delivery. So, at 9:20 I ordered a cheese pizza and a couple orders of their homemade fries on uber eats (according to google maps our hotel is 10 minutes away). Our order did not arrive UNTIL 11:00 (almost 2 hours later). Uber eats kept mentioning they were waiting for our order to be made. When the food arrived it was cold and inedible. Fries soggy and pizza completely cold. Threw it away. Super bummed. Will not order again.
Worst service ever! Bartender was dropping f bombs and charged $85 for 4 warm Manhattans. McDonald's has better burgers and fries. This place sucks. Will NEVER return!!!!! Consider yourself warned. Go to Summer House or BLux or the Dell Bar or even Fields for superior service food and prices! We were upstairs.Secondarily I mentioned the above superior establishments because the price point is the same.Thirdly my bill was not $120 and I tipped over 25% which IS low for my usual tip.Fourth the lovely couple is my daughter and son-in-law.Fifth, you advertise as a craft whiskey bar and can't make a Manhattan, which should be chilled and served like a martini or on a large piece of ice not on rocks.Sixth, I am a patron of the previous owner and did not appreciate all the negative comments made in regards to him by name. Very inappropriate as was your response.My review stands.
Can’t attest to the actual food because we are still waiting for all of it. Ordered online through Slice and when we got to the restaurant no one knew how to get the order and had to call someone. Once they figured it out they said 20 minutes. We waited an hour only to find part of the order was missing. The bartenders were too busy doing shots to make sure everything was right and then tried to blame it on the cook.
Ordered Green Owl on DoorDash tonight. They cancelled the order but not until almost an hour after we placed it. The Dasher went to the restaurant and waited and they eventually cancelled entirely.
First, don't go to Green Owl if it's snowy or its snowed in the last 3 weeks. Its underneath Ravina Bay restaurant. DOWN a driveway and dark . They put little effort into clearing the ice. I walked where they alledgedly had cleared the path. But not completely cleared. I slipped and fell on my back and head. Pizza I ordered was barely cooked. It was nothing special. After I told the woman I fell, she offered little sympathy. I won't make this mistake again. It wasn't worth the pain.
Very disappointed. Was really looking forward to this bar as it was advertised in a Dells magazine for their bourbons/craft cocktails. Went there after 9pm friday night; asked the bartender to make a bourbon sidecar; told me no. Settled for an old fashion which was fine. No drink menus. Stayed for the one drink and left.
Pizza was excellent! My husband and I ordered around 6 pm, recieved the pie and salad 38 minutes later. Faster than other deliveries. Green owl special pizza came hot and ceasar salad was chilled with homemade ceasar dressing & fresh diced tomatoes! PERFECTO!
