We are frequent diners at Rubb's. Never had a bad experience,. Food was always superb followed up with after dinner drinks .
What an amazing experience last night! we were promptly and cheerfully were greeted by Amanda who cheerfully greeted us, sat us and entertained us with her history in Dells. This was awesome because we arrived at 930 and they close at 10. o'Wayne showed up promptly to take our drink order. We did not feel rushed at all! We ordered Stuffed Mushrooms those are to die for!! I ordered prime and it was melt in your mouth good!! very generous portions! Next time in the Dells you have to stop by Rubbs!!

Decided on Rubbs to celebrate our anniversary. Coincidentally, we found out it’s the restaurant’s anniversary too! Thank you for the amazing meal, excellent service, super soup/salad bar, fresh, clean, ambiance, music and a free anniversary dessert?!? Will definitely be back to this hidden gem. Make reservations if visiting during busy dinner hours. Love the nature surrounding the restaurant too! So good!
This place is like Heaven on earth!It’s romantically located in the forest along the Wisconsin river. Outside eating is Amazing! The new owners have updated and restored this gem of Wisconsin Dells!Food and Staff are all 10 Stars!Thank you for making My 1 year Anniversary Magical and Enchanting!
A smaller steakhouse off the main drag. Food was good but nothing special
First time here.What a great place.Bar area was fun before dinner and was just a lead in to dinner..Food was terrific with the home made soups at the salad bar to the great steaksStephanie our server is so nice and really made the evening special.Thanks again we will be returning.
Went there for the first time and very good steak and prime rib. Good size salad bar. Very clean inside the only part that sucked was our waitress never really checked on us, the younger ones didn’t pay much attention but the other lady waitress was doing a really good job. We just had the wrong person..
Salad bar was fantastic. Server was extremely kind and attentive. Love their variety of soft drinks. Beer soup was good, a little too much onion taste for me. Tonight may have been an off night because food was less than expected. Cheeseburger ok. Perch was tough, like it was reheated. Filet was hard to cut. Ribeye was overdone and full of grissle. Mashed potatoes maybe are not real..the texture and temp was odd. Such a cute place I had hoped for better food, price for the 4 of us was $125.
Food was really good! Excellent salad bar! It took 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night. After we ordered our food about 30 minutes after arriving, we had to wait 90 minutes to get it! We arrived at 830pm and a few minutes before 10p we finally received our food! Our 3 boys end up being tired and wanting to leave and not eat because it got so late waiting for our food. We finally did get it and they ate about half of their meals B4 getting crabby! I had a 6oz steak with vegetables, wife had half a rack ribs and the kids cheeseburger and fries. Wife had 1 drink we each had a sprite to drink and the bill was $115.. Pretty expensive for what we got and the wait for the food was extreme, the longest I've ever had to wait for the food after ordering In my 42 years on earth! To make matters worse the waitress never checked on us after taking our order.. She did check on us twice after she finally brought us our order though.. If you don't mind the extremely long wait to get your food after ordering and paying $50 more for the meal then we have paid at any other place for a similar meal then it might be worth the wait because the food was pretty good. My wife and kids that tried her half rack of ribs didn't care for the bbq sauce though, but the meat itself was good. Maybe if they used sweet baby Ray's bbq sauce they most likely would have been to for for ..So expect to pay quite a bit more for your meal and having to wait a real long time for your dinner after ordering it if you go here, but if you do the food will not disappoint! Even though the bbq sauce wasn't all that good, they got everything else perfect! I might go there again in the future but if I end up waiting for the food 90 minutes again I won't go a 3rd time
