No place better for breakfast in the Dells! Family style all you can eat. Best pancake syrup anywhere!
I was excited to go, I had heard lots of hype. I didn't like the food. The coffee was very weak. The OJ tasted like sunny D not orange juice. almost everything was room temperature to Luke warm at best. I thought the potatoes tasted like day old potatoes, maybe frozen? The donuts really disappointed me. The donuts were crunchy on the outside, room temperature, and so oily. I will not be returning. The best thing was the pancakes. If you go get milk and pancakes.
been going here science I was 6. Awesome place. never leave hungry. the donuts are the bomb
I really enjoy my first time at this iconic restaurant.Service was fast and efficient. Our server was friendly and attentive.Food was sooo good! We had coffee, fresh fruit, orange juice, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, eggs, donuts, yummy! The restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and family friendly. There’s a shop within the restaurant to purchase all sorts of goods to add to your collection. Don’t forget to take a picture with Paul and his bull!
Came here before heading home n brought friends with us for their first time. Prices went up since 2 years ago. Great pic ops outside. Loved atmosphere. Food was excellent. Doughnuts were the best!
Such a fun place to eat! I loved how fast all the food came out and it kept coming! And everything was so good!
Food was the only thing that was good. Which, yea, is very important. Greeting promptly by a snotty hostess that was yelling out orders and herding us thorough like cattle. This was my first impression and unfortunately, it’s hard to change. She yelled instead of talking in a normal tone and volume. Seated quickly. About 1.20 per year (at least ages 6-11) we can speak to. Adults $16.99. Good value for adults, all the food was really tasty. For kids, depends on if they really eat much. Knew going with one of my children, we’d pay $7 for a donut….but she enjoyed it. Waitress did not return often to refill the drinks unfortunately. Gift shop had a wide variety of items. Not sure I’d return, mostly due to again, feeling like herded cattle and the hostess treating us like children…..except for the charges of course.
I took family for first time. I have been before but they haven't. It's great to be able to get all you can eat. Not having to make a choice on what to eat. You get a variety of food and get more of anything you want.
My wife and I had breakfast with other family members at the Wisconsin Dells location. The menu is simple and is served family style. It consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, ham, biscuits w gravy, and pancakes. Tea, coffee, milk, chocolate milk, and juices are also available. It’s all-you-can-eat and the cost is about $14.00 per person. Children are charged according to their ages, but I never needed to know how much each age was.I had some of everything and then more and more pancakes. I loved them. The servers kept clearing the empty serving platters and bringing new ones. And they did it with a smile.
Paul Bunyan's had been here forever it seems like. If you have been once, it is still about the same. The breakfast staples are served family style. They don't bring huge portions to limit waste, but If you like something, you can always get more. So come hungry and come early if you don't want to be rushed, as they close at noon. Hopefully they can get more staff to extend their hours and hopefully they can get the ax throwing and dinner show running again.Three stars for food and service plus one additional star for nostalgic purposes. We are glad to see this Dells area Staple has survived!
