Howies is more concerned about being politically correct than serving good food. Have been there twice and the food was unimpressive in taste and quantity. One thing they were all over on their billboard was the fact that they support the Communist BLM organization. You know, the group that steals the money of their donators and buy mansions and give money to their family members. One star is too much for this business.
Kiddos cleared their plates! Food was fast, delicious, and no wait at all. Skip Dennys and head here, right down the road.
If you are tired of waiting an hour for a table at Denny's try this place out. It's off the main strip so it's peaceful, not so loud and overcrowded. Has a homey atmosphere, the food was great, and staff was very courteous and attentive. Prices were reasonable, and portions were big. Good food with lots of selections. We returned every day for breakfast and a few times for lunch during our Dells vacation.
Horrible!!! We just went there.. first of all, the server messed up what order we asked for.. then he went to “fix” it… but we were still missing things.. not to mention our food was COLD!!! When we finished, we asked to speak to a manager… they brought us the cook & we explained to her what was going on.. we said we would still pay… she threw a fit and said “well the eggs were hot off the grill” (which they were not) and then said “you can just go”.. extremely rude & unprofessional.
Good food. Great service and inexpensive prices.. Can't go wrong.
The place is simple but serves a good breakfast and has an attached meat store next to it. Beauty. Our server was a super nice guy and very attentive.

I only give it a 3 star because of the utensils and the dishes. I didn't drink the drink because of how the cup looked. It didn't look clean n the drink looked funny. The food was ok. If you go bring your own utensils. The utensils were so old, there was no shine, it looked very dull n unclean. I asked for plastic utensils. They just need an upgrade and new plates and utensils.
Howie is a great place to eat, good food, great service and good prices.
