Before I came to Wisconsin Dells I googled where to go for a dinner. There were just a few places that were rated as I wanted. High rock cafe was one of them.We stopped by and decided to give them a try. We were sitted right away, without any waiting time. Everyone seems so kind. Our waitress looked a little bit lost, but doesn’t matter. ? Ordered two virgin cocktails - humu humu nuku nuku apua ? these were delicious, and two beers. For appetizers we got gilly goat and fish tacos. Gilly goat was sooo good, but since i am not big fan of taco’s, I didn’t like them that much. I also ordered pan-asian pork chop and my partner took a bruschetta chicken. Both were so juicy and tasty! I can freely say - perfect! We were delighted! After all, we we’re very satisfied that we choose this place! Ended up happy with full belly ?
My Family and I enjoyed a delicious Dinner with great service. We all tried different plates and they were all prepared just right even the soups tasted good. Highly recommend.
All of the food was very good. Our server was personable and provided good service. Will definitely go there again when in the area.
We feasted on a couple of appetizers. The Korean Nachos were amazing, the Truffle Cheese Curds were perfect and cocktails hit just right. We will definitely be back.
We came on a mini vacation to see some music and needed some food the next day after a late night of shenanigans. I always check out reviews before deciding on food because hello! it’s the easiest way to find the good stuff! After seeing the Julia Child quote on the wall I knew we had to go. High Rock did not disappoint. I was also sold after reading about the chefs they sound like some pretty cool dudes. Back to the food! The Bloody Mary was excellent, the Korean nachos were sooo good and also a huge portion….I was like whoa meat. Can’t forget our server Carolyne! She was fun, did a great job and put up with me. Gold stars ⭐️ All around. My boyfriend had the golden tiki sandwich with fries. Sandwich was good. I’d throw some fresh pineapple on it and I think it would be even better. Also whoever came up with that idea for the fries is genius. I had the Asian arancini and the ahi tuna and they were excellent. I’m a weird texture lover and this hit on all levels. Yum. Im still sad we didn’t get the Kit Kat dessert but we were so full I just couldn’t do it. The atmosphere there is fantastic and we really enjoyed it. I’d go back again anytime so I could eat all the things!
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We had their soup of the day, loaded potato soup, and each a different salad for the 3 of us. The service was prompt, accurate and attentive. Will recommend to anyone visiting the Dells!
We found our newest favorite spot. Located on the main road we were greeted and thanked for choosing their restaurant to dine with. Seated upstairs there isn’t a bad seat. The feel is higher end but casual enough to come as you are. Server was great, presentation of food was great but looks aren’t everything - and it surpassed itself in taste. It was a delicious and relaxing meal just what we wanted! Our family are foodies so this rating comes with very high marks . We went with our two kids 17 and 19 years old they know how to order, sit still and enjoy the company around them - without having phone to “entertain” disturb everyone else.
Delicious food, very friendly and attentive staff. Organized a fantastic group gathering for us. Would highly recommend!
