Wow! Best meal weâve had in a very long time! Our server Brandon was on point and delivered a fantastic dining experience! We both shared the wonderful warm Asiago Cheese Bread and Oysters Rockefeller then both ordered a perfectly seasoned and prepared Filet Au Poivre, Hashbrowns with Cheese and Onions along with delicious Roasted Brussels Sprouts! Weâll definitely be back soon!
Food was amazing order the hashbrown with a porterhouse!
Aside from the sushi and the truffle fries, the food was very bland. The waiter seemed to be overwhelm med in the beginning and wasnât attentive or pleasant to interact with, although the restaurant wasnât busy.
Our first visit to this restaurant. The server was very friendly. We had a couple of issues with our food. The child's pasta came out luke warm. The kitchen sent out the wrong sides and the ones we did get were luke warm. Overall, it was an ok dining experience. However, we have other steakhouses in the Dells that we frequent where everything is perfect. Would not go back.
Food was amazing and our server, Tanner, was fantastic.
Don't bother, Kalahari please fix this. We've been coming for over twelve years and previously drove 2 hours one way to eat here. We've been long time fans but this is three times since 2020 it's been a horrible miss. We gave them a pass but that's done. I wouldn't eat here if it was delivered for free now. The porterhouse at $70 was terrible. No flavor and full of tendons. Two of us ate less than half. The 1/2 lbs ($70) crab was about two tablespoons of edible meat. The tuna tartare was only half palatable mostly tough. The creme brulee has and still is on the scale of Jell-o packaged quality. The $21 smoked bourbon was ordered expecting the promised at table presentation. Nope, just the drink and mostly melted ice cube. I would have ordered the $12 version. We had a party of six (4 adults 2 children) and they added 18%. The server was great and I would have still tipped 20% because she didn't order the ingredients or cook it. But adding gratuity for 6 people seems.... odd. Only two people were physically sick afterwards, so perhaps a small win there. It was over $700 for us and just a shame. Thankfully two people didn't have to bother to digest it. Weight saved. If I can redirect one family to Field's at the wilderness our $700 is well spent. I'm so very sorry to leave a bad review. I really hate doing that but even it was 20% the cost I'd have to. If I got this meal at Denny's I'd expect it, though still disappointed. On a side note, their redesign is unfortunate. Gone is the lovely booths to sit and have a drink. We peeked in at their piano bar three times during our stay and wow... awful. We didn't go for that but please don't make that a destination.
It took longer than expected for our waitress to come to the table initially, after that the service was very good. The food was good, my wife really enjoyed her Scallops and Brussel Sprouts. I had the Rib Eye Steak and Broccoli, it's pretty hard to mess up the broccoli but they overcooked my steak. When I brought it to the waitresses attention the manager (I assume) was nearby and saw that I was talking to the waitress about my steak. They were both very quick to address the situation and promptly took the steak and prepared a new one which was then cooked perfectly. The manager ensured that it was cooked right before leaving the table. As for value, this is Wisconsin Dells during the summer but in my opinion the prices are too high for what you get.
Fabulous food and service. Steaks always done to perfection and garlic mashed potatoes are to die for. Pesto pasta delicious. Cocktails are top shelf and wine list extensive. Best meal in the Dells.
The best fillet mignon Iâve ever had! The waitress was very attentive.
We were so surprised at how amazing this place was! Some of the best food we have had! We did a board, and wine flight. Amazing tomahawk, and sides the potatoes were the best! Great service and amazing dessert to surprise my boyfriend for his birthday!
