come in to eat told can't have a a Oreo shake because the ice cream is hard. let's see hot water with ice cream scoop to dish up ice cream but I was told no when do we start telling a guest in the F and B buniness no. we go above and beyond to make them happy. As a Head Chef I would never tell my Guest in my restaurant no. you need to do better. My party was not even check on until the end of the meal
The staff was attentive and the food came out within a short time of ordering. The waitress was friendly.
It's a Denny's. I don't have a high standard. Passable food served fast is my first standard and this Denny's did that. My second standard is decent service. Fast service is part of that but so is at least an iota of listening. I was rushed through my experience. Out of the maybe two or three times the waitress came to the table I was given half a second to respond before I'd be interrupted or what I was saying would be assumed by her. I got the feeling she didn't want to bother. Fine. That'd been a three star. Then I got to the front to pay. The hostess seemed lovely. She was being berated by one of the waitresses over a territorial dispute on the tables. The waitress was rude and assuming. "I got skipped, put the next group in the corner". The poor hostess asked "what if they don't want to sit in the corner". She was ignored. I wish I could've tipped her directly.The food was fine. Staff was, for the most part, grating. They didn't get along with each other and it was palpable. They passed that attitude on. Even with the half baked smiles and faux happiness. Get it together. Be grateful you're even working. Don't make your bad attitude the customer's problem.
Honestly it was beyond a disappointing experience here. The food didn’t taste bad. But the price for how much you get isn’t really worth it because everything’s small as heck. The friendship house is not only better but cheaper and I regret trying something new. Also the waitress took a drink out of our soda ?? wish I could leave a zero start

The food was decent but as someone who’s worked in the kitchen I could see a ton of violations I was honestly scared to eat my food and getting sick afterwards no one in the kitchen was wearing a hat or hairnet of some sort and no gloves at all or did I see anyone wash their hands after touching food yes I do understand places are short staffed but that still is no excuse to be touching and grabbing different foods without changing gloves or hand washing in between that was the most cross contamination I’ve ever seen in a kitchen. Will definitely not be coming back after seeing all that.
Ordered doordash, got it just fine then get back inside and realize there’s no pancakes in my meal. I paid $10 for pancakes and bacon and got no pancakes. Then I call 3 times, get no answer. Drive all the way there to get angry stares by the staff and get handed sloppily done food. Ridiculous.
Great waitress and GREAT food. Offered me a coffee to go for the road trip home.Love this place
