Seems like a common thing that when I get seated for a table they always put me at one when there’s trash under it. Last time they swept AFTER we sat down and told us to lift our feet up! This time it was my moms birthday and there was three of us and just walking to the table it was a raised one and I could see the trash before she sat us. I wanted to ask for a clean one but the host walked off too quick. Waited three minutes just standing there before our nice waiter moved us to another table. And on top of that I asked for medium done, got rare. Had it remade and still half rare half medium done.
This is not my first experience with them. I'm a truck driver, and I work out of West Bend. The choices in this city is limited, so I often come here for dinner.First, the greeter was friendly, and the person who brought me to my table was also personable; however, my server didn't seem very attentive to me and my experience there (On a $36 bill, I still tipped 20%, because I know how hard their job can be).Secondly, the food... and I have to say, it was disappointing. My salad, which had very little lettuce, was already wilted and was left wanting. The star of the evening, 12oz Prime Rib.... well, it wasn't cooked properly (I ordered medium), and it was tough. When I think of good prime rib, it is usually extremely tender. This was not it tonight at all.I wish I could say something better, but this is just my opinion on my experience tonight. Do better, please!
Texas Roadhouse was an awesome experience! The service was friendly and attentive. The food was awesome as usual, I just love their hot bunsand cinnamon butter!! We went out for my birthday and I didn't have room for my birthday cheesecake so the waitress was kind enough to put it in a to go box and she even wrote happy birthday and drew some balloons on it for me, made me feel special!
Had been a bit since our last visit. Don't recall that time but won't forget our last. In short, was in the mood for a 'restaurant steak'. Ordered the porterhouse, medium. It arrived burnt on the edges & overcooked. Only the middle section was medium. Commented to waiter, didn't seem interested & I didn't want to make a scene. I'll consider other establishments in the future...
There were 4 in our party. The quality of the food was excellent. The salads were crisp and the dressings were great. The quality of the meat was very nice. I ordered my steak medium rare and I repeated what the menu said, “Red warm center.” When the steak came, there was no red at all. Inside was light pink with a thick brown edge. The waitress took it back after about 10 minutes, someone came out with the steak and a card with pictures and began arguing with me that this steak was indeed medium rare. This was a very confused person because she said, “ If they cook it longer it will only get more well done. They can’t make it more rare.” She finally understood that they needed to make a new steak. We waited and waited for the new steak. Everyone at the table had finished their entire meal and we were still waiting. They finally brought the new steak, which had a very small center of red. I took it home. Rotten experience. I would not go to this Texas Roadhouse again.
My boyfriend got the sirloin and mash potatoes with a Caesar salad and loved it! I however had to wait to eat because I was told my food was cooked improperly. I ordered well done beef tips with a house salad and mash potatoes. No onions or sour cream. After I get my remade food it has onions:( and it’s well done but a lot of pieces were black. As if they only cooked it on one side. I ate the mash potatoes which were hot and amazing but I tried a few beef tips and they were just hard and tasted over cooked. I told my waitress and she apologized and asked to remake it for the third time but my boyfriend was already done with his meal so I just kinda wanted to go at this point. I mean I had already been there for 40 minutes. She gave us the bill and we asked for a discount but she said no because I still ate the mash potatoes…. The picture shows the food.It seems that every time I eat here the last few months I always have a bad experience lately. I use to go here once a month! My mothers birthday is next week so hopefully I have a better experience.
To the owner. Your welcome. We had come up several months ago and the food wasn't very good. We were up this weekend and thought we'd try again. This last time we were there the food was just outstanding and so were the drinks. Thank you for a great experience. Rebecca
Food was great but the waitress did not take a single used plate or glass from our table while serving us.
Excellent wait staff.Food was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection and perfect seasoning. Chicken was tender juicy and just right amount of BBQ.Meals were timely on Valentines day despite being very busy.
