I wish my chicago dog would have been cooked a bit longer...but it was pretty fast and everything was fresh..they were very busy so somtimes just enjoy what you get i will eay there again!
I have not had much of an appetite for awhile. I have been craving Sammy's! Went there tonight, ordered chili cheese fries and a brat. I ate it all!!!! Love Sammy's!!!!!
Forever Martino's fans me and the boy found ourselves hangry on the other side of town. It's there we discovered this hidden gem that I want to say I've heard about before but will NOW say I know about. The older fella that took our orders was a throwback to Ed Debevics but in the entertainment way (not rude or vulgar at all, lol)! Chatted with an elderly couple who turned out to be regulars and made our wait time breeze by. Our food was hand delivered by our pleasant host as he clamored with kitchen staff. My kid got a double bacon cheeseburger with a chocolate shake while I challenged the Italian beef to live up to standards of Martinos. Boy did Sammy deliver! Fries were standard classic tasty while our sandwiches were both outstanding! ? ? My kid was also a fan of the wafer cookie that came in his shake, ?. Needless to say we will definitely be return customers and highly recommend everyone else to give them a try!?
Great little place to stop for lunch. Chicago dogs are great and prices are reasonable. Always friendly staff and service.
Love this place! Best hot dogs around for the price! I had a Chicago dog and my husband had a cheese burger and chilli dog. We also shared onion rings and a large soda. Spent $17 total. Everything was great and the staff is super friendly!
Man the burgers have that charred grill taste. Great prices and a whole variety of burgers, dogs and sandwiches along with many sides. Tried a vanilla shake. Pretty good.
It good my only complaint is the fact the chilli has fillers. I.e. beans real chilli doesn't have fillers and "their Chilli and cheese" should be called something else. Plus it was just really bland chili is suppose to have flavoring In it. Don't get me wrong the Italian dog was really good.
After moving to the Milwaukee area from Chicagoland over 20 years ago, I can still say that other than Portillo’s now, after all this time, Sammy’s is the only other establishment in this metro that I have found with the same authentic “Chicago style” Italian beef sandwiches that I love so much!! The prices are still relatively reasonable, despite the Brandon economy, and the staff are always friendly and efficient!
I really enjoy eating Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef sandwiches and this is one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite. So if you're in the area come and pay a visit to Sammy's.
Best Chicago style hot dogs and Italian beef in Milwaukee. I much prefer going to a locally owned small family business like this, than the franchised chains.
