The drive through menu board was missing a panel, so nobody in line could know what types of donuts were available. And twice I tried to ask for donuts at the menu board speaker, but the employee said she couldn't understand me.I drove off, went across Hwy 100 to Dunkin, and they handled my order just fine.
I've always loved Krispy Kreme-their donuts are delicious, when they have them in stock. This location has been going downhill the last couple of times I've been here. The lobby is closed even though it says dine-in available. The donuts are smaller, with some being exceptionally small for no reason. They had 4 employees just standing by the registers on their phones, which makes me wonder why they have the lobby closed. I still prefer them over Dunkins, but they're not what they were.Seriously though, why was my original glazed half the size of the other donuts? And since when is it $10 for half a dozen (small) donuts?
Zero stars. This system does not allow you to post without giving at least one star, but rest assured this location gets a big, fat ZERO.The employees were rude and unprofessional. I gave my order and the person asked me to repeat. So I did loud and clear. They asked me to repeat again. So I did even louder and slower making sure to enunciate every word properly so that there would be no misunderstanding. The person had the nerve to get an attitude with me like I did something wrong. She asked me to repeat several times. Did she want me to scram at her or something? If they have intercom-issues then that is something the customer should be made aware of. However, it was clear that the actual-issue was this person was not focused on the task at hand, which I would discover as I pulled to the window. They were talking to each other not paying attention to me. The girl at the window takes my card barely even looking at me, and hands it back to me in the same manner. Then hands me my doughnuts again not even looking at me or showing any sense of professionalism or home-training at all.I seriously doubt any of the so-called "positive" reviews here are legit. There are far too many negative-reviews all basically saying the same things from many different people IN DETAIL for their to be a significant-amount of good service at this place. Maybe on a good day service might be adequate, but never good.
They are going down hill since last year. Not open when they are suppose to be open. They NEVER answer the phone. On valentine's day I called to make sure they would be open and have the valentines day donuts available and was told yes they will be available.I traveled a hour to get here. Arrived 45 minutes after opening only to see a sign in drive thru that says NO glazed donuts available.Which was a lie they ONLY had glazed donuts, chocolate with sprinkles, and strawberry with sprinkles. They wasn't selling or even making valentine's donuts. The gentlemen taking orders was extremely rude with a really nasty attitude where you could tell he didn't want to be there.Donuts was stale and had to be a few days old Also the menu has yet to be changed from the Christmas menu its still advertising the Christmas donuts. Me and my family will not be coming back.
I can't see the West Allis location staying open much longer. Parking lot is dirty. From the outside, it looks closed. Only drive thru window is open and when you order something else besides coffee and the original glaze, the staff seems bothered. I asked for one dozen of a mix of chocolate glazed, maple, and specialty ones and the other 3 dozen just original glaze. You would thought I asked for them to part the Red Sea by the look when I ordered that. The order taker tells me she already put it in for all original and doesn't know if she can take it out. Staff was not too polite. When I get back to work with my 4 dozen donuts and opened the boxes, all 4 dozen were original glaze. I'd we were able to go inside to order, this would not have happened but they are saying they have no staff to open up to guests. I would say that next time I order from the West Allis location I will check the contents before leaving but I will not go back to that location.
One as of this writing the inside is not open. Only drive-thru. That was not fun at all. Four of their major kinds of doughnuts they were out of, and nowhere was that listed in the drive-thru. You ordered, hopefully, it was there, and if not hope your backup choice is not out also. Just to note we were there before noon. The service was good though. Just as a personal opinion the coffee is horrible. Only my opinion though. Try it yourself to judge. Oops almost forgot yes the doughnuts we did get were great.
My cousin H works here as a donut decorator and makes the best lookin donuts. Love me some good ole Krispy Kreme donuts
Went and got my donuts in the morning, and had heather as the person helping me out and have to say she was one of the best employees I’ve dealt with recently there. Had a great attitude, was very friendly and told me she even frosted the donuts herself and let me say they were some of the best good looking donuts I’ve had in a while. Just had to make it known that she is a very good employee and made my day :)
Is this location still open? Just drove 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon and they are closed. Hours were listed as open online.
Absolutely fabulous warm glazed donuts. You can't eat just one, so you need to pick up six or 12.
