OK so the Happy Tap is real close to where we live in West Allis so it gets bonus points for that ! LOL My Hubby loves to come here and watch Packers games with his Guy Pals and I try to tag along unless I am busy with house work or grocery shopping. The best time to grocery shop is during the Packer games! LOL They have great pizza and my Hubby likes the beer selections!

We thought we would give happy taps pizza a try, its been around along time and had some good reviews, what a mistake!! Called around 2 in the afternoon on a wednesday and i told the guy i was a first time customer and was wondering if they put alot of cheese on there pizzas (dont like alot of cheese on thin crust)...he said he didnt have an answer for me because he doesnt make the pizzas (if your not a regular customer they treat you like s**t)...get 2 pizzas home and theres about 2 pounds of cheese on each pizza maybe 2 pieces of sausage per piece and barely any sauce to be found...and a nasty tasting frozen pizza crust...really bad!!
Bartenders are so fun and efficient, great at what they do. The pizza is worth going there for, made fresh, ample toppings, the sauce is tasty, all homemade. I've only had their pizza, and I will be back for more. Prices are inexpensive, they could definitely charge more for their drinks and pie, so another reason to go back.
If you're ever in the area, this is like a modern day cheers.. Patty and Alex are the best bartenders around! They are not just pouring your beers n cocktails but they're ensuring ur safety and can hold a decent conversation. Pizza cook is super consistent.. kitchen is always open late.. Try the jumbo pretzel.. if you want to have a good time come to your Happy Tap!!!
Good pizza, better pretzel. The cook takes pride in his work and it shows which is always nice to see. Bartender was friendly had good food suggestions. Will definitely be back.

The pizza is really tasty and the bar is nice and clean. The gal behind the bar is really nice and polite. Totally recommend the pizza and why not have a beer while you wait for it. I did.
