Went here just to check it out. I heard about the place from my local gaming store, Battle Brothers. I got to say this place has a ton of potential, a huge space to hang out and play games, with free games provided to play with friends, they have some arcade games and pinball machines. They have a nice sized bar and a kitchen for food. Only problem I see is the place seems like it could get extremely loud as the are is pretty much just an open space, but I think fun can be had here.
An absolute gem! I was thoroughly impressed in my visit here. The space was much larger than anticipated and the selection of board games and other types of games was massive.The food was what one would expect from a bar, and maybe slightly above the average. Highly recommended will definitely be back many times more.
Awesome environment to come chill play a board game, pinball, ect. We had a great time drinking beer while playing bears vs babies at the bar. The food left a little to be desired but overall an awesome place
I go here with my girlfriend to play the board games mainly and have a drink or two.The games are really fun and they always restock with new releases so you always want to come back in that sense.The drinks on the other hand are hit or miss depending on your pallette. I won't give 4 stars because of this, but I thought the Zelda one tasted like cherry-flavored liquid Tylenol, but the ectoplasm is definitely delicious, consistent, and their most popular.The food is marked up for what it is, but if you come with a large group and split the price, it might be worth it if the portion sizes are big enough.The staff is nice and they typically run at max capacity after like 4:30pm. Parking is a bit of a headache because of this, but you can usually find a spot somewhere if you look carefully. Each time I have gone, I have found the last open spot lol.Overall this place is a great vibe with great people, great games, decent drinks, and unknown quality food (haven't tried it)!
Have a few pros and cons for this bar. The amount of games and what is available here is smaller now since after the pandemic but it still works. The cons the drinks aren't made using a jigger, so pay $11.25 for 1/2 oz worth of liquor is not good at all. The wife and I left after two drinks. EDIT FOR OWNER I ordered a double captain and coke, while my wife ordered a doctor mcgillicuddy with a energy drink as her drink, but drinks were made at 1/2 ounce and we were charge 22.50. I placed the original review on Sat. 12th and you should have my information drinks and who the bartender was. Also this happened twice, thought she didn't hear me the first time, so we ordered again to see what she did. Reason why we left after 2 drinks. I use to love going there and my wife had two bad experiences there now when I didn't before the pandemic and I spoke highly of this place. I now see what she meant and the drink prices were the last straw and this goes for 6 other people I went up to and asked what they thought about the pricing and liquor amount.
I have gone here regularly for the last few months, and the service and food have always been exceptional. Food is always hot, fresh, and relatively fast. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Will definitely continue to frequent.
Came here with a friend. Right after walking in the door you can feel the vibe this place has. People are talking, eating, or playing games. Everyone was having a good time, and the atmosphere is perfect.My friend and I had a great time. We were able to have some drinks, eat some food, and catch up. It wasn't a bad place to hold a conversation, until karaoke but that goes with the activity.Their trivia night was also tonight. While we didn't officially play, we did play along. The questions were of a geeky nature, which fit into the vibe rather nicely.TL;DR: 10/10 expect to have a good time.
