Taste: 5/5. I went here with my girlfriend and her family and we absolutely Feasted. The guacamole is unique in the best way and each of the empanadas that I sampled were delicious (especially the guava). I ordered the enchiladas which exceeded my expectations. Even the chips were yummy.Service: 5/5. Our waitress was friendly and communicative. All of the food arrived in good time and the steak that was ordered was cooked to perfection.Vibe: 5/5. The music that was played in the background was absolutely BANGING!!! Beyond that, it was a well-built restaurant in a neat area. I really liked that the menu identified the country/ies of origin of each dish.Cost: 4/5. On one hand, it’s a nicer restaurant that serves the best South/Latin American fusion food that I’ve ever had. On the other hand, I’m a college student. That being said, everyone left with leftovers except me.My girlfriend had been hyping up Antigua for Months, and now I understand why. Definitely the best food that I’ve eaten in my limited experience of Milwaukee.

One of our favorite spots to dine when we are craving Latin flavors but wish to step outside of the tacos and burritos scene. Fabulous variety of tapas, drinks, and entrees. I highly recommend the Sun Dried Tomato & Roasted Pumpkin Seed Guacamole, a simply AMAZING mingling of flavors. The Cochinita Pibil, or Yucatan style pulled pork, is a popular dish, and deservedly so. Camarones Antigua - what's not to LOVE about cheese-stuffed shrimp blanketed in bacon? And the Salt Air Margarita is a trip to the beach in a glass. If you love Latin food and unique flavors, don't wait another minute - get yourself to this unique and delightful little gem in West Allis!

The food Epenadas and plantains stuffed pobano peppers chili nogada wonderful with bacon guac delightful the heat was perfect .atmosphere very pleasant.

Antigua Restaurant catered our wedding held at our home on 05/14/2022, and we must say that they are top notch! At every level, they exceeded all of our expectations, EXCELLENCE on every level. Their website provided all pertinent information, unlike other caterers. The Catering Manager responded promptly to our initial email and demonstrated professional guidance every step of the way. Every interaction with the restaurant staff was professional. The food was succulent, table set-up was perfect, and all of our guests had nothing but compliments for the wait staff and food. In short, Antigua Restaurant made our wedding day PERFECT and we highly recommend their catering services for all events. They knew the assignment and passed with flying colors, you can’t go wrong if you choose Antigua Restaurant!!!

Wonderful dining experience. We love to come here. The service is prompt and friendly and the food is fabulous. My favorite is the Chile en Norgado and then flan for dessert.

I went here because I miss latin flavors, I ordered the Encocao de camarón, at the beginning tasted good but then it was just too sweet, the rice got wet with the sweet sauce so there wasn't any flavor contrast, It was the same flavor always, I ate all because I was hunger and I don't like to complain. My friend's dish was the Antigua shrimp, the cheese had a rancid-like taste and couldn't feel the shrimp flavor, not a good combination. I know it is inspired cuisine but Colombian empanadas were a whole different, the traditional dough is made with corn flour, not wheat. The cochinachos were really good, the cochinita pibil tasted exactly the way I remember, it was delicious. And finally, if the tip was low it was because all of the previous issues, a waitress who was not even ours made a disappointed face for the tip right in front of us, at least she could have done it elsewhere, how ungrateful.

3/20/2022Excellent food and service. I ordered the Pasta-Chicken, with salad, dinner-- but I asked for any vegetable to replace the chicken (chef's choice). The resultant pasta-veggie dinner was excellent...and very generous in portion size. I enjoyed about half of the dish, and took the other half home for a treat later. Others in the family had other dinners-- all excellent.Thank you for good food and service!(Save the recipe for the Pasta-Veggie dinner)

Overpriced, overwrought, underwhelming. They have put far too much work into being "interesting" that they forgot to make good food. The portions are tiny. The prices are high. The food is fine, but the costs are not in line with the quality or the portions. I'm not certain if they're trying to produce some traditional dishes I've never heard of or if they're just making things up on the fly. Either way, they lost me at the sundried tomato and pumpkin seed guacamole and it didn't get any better from there. There are better traditional Central American restaurants and there are better fusion restaurants.
