This is our go-to for authentic tacos al Pastor! We had never had a taco prepared that way until a trip to Mexico a few years back, and it was love at first bite! The tacos here transport us back every time we dine - and their margaritas are top notch as well! Love the food, the atmosphere, and the attentive service! If you haven't been here, you gotta try it.
Never dined in before, always ordered out. Food has always been awesome! Decided that we wanted to have a date night and go out for dinner. Sat for 15 mins. Before asking for a waiter. A table walked in after us. Got drinks and food before we even were asked about drinks. Once we asked for a server, waited another 5 mins before someone even came to table. Ended up deciding to go somewhere else. Needless to say serves was horrible. Which was such a bummer. In the future we will stick to ordering out.
Completely unprofessional when I tried to collect on the guacamole I ordered and never received to go. I was laughed at by the manager and received an “apology” while she laughed in my face. The staff doesn’t greet you, they have an attitude, and unfortunately have good food. I will no longer be going here after trying to make it work for years. I will be going to chilango express instead. GET IT TOGETHER!
No one answers the phone, so I walked in to place an order. I knew it would be busy and there would be a wait for to go orders which I was okay with. I waited at the bar for 10 minutes and the staff was informed I was there to place a to go order as I heard them talking about it. Another gentleman walked in behind me and placed his order with someone else right away. Guest acknowledgement goes a long way.
Birria tacos were amazing, fast and friendly service. Always great!
Very friendly staff!! Tacos were skimpy rice and beans in my dinner seem like they were right out of a instant package. The restaurant was cold (it's winter time) not sure if we will give it another shot. Maybe for a last call bar pit stop
Visited this place after reading the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. The food was excellent--so much better than your average Mexican food that tastes the same everywhere else. Now, If they could make a better margarita (no bottled mixes), the experience would be even better! Service was good and I will definitely be coming back!
In addition to enjoying the occasional dinner at Al Pastor, we hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner there. They have an area that isn’t exactly a private room, but that is set away from the rest of the restaurant, that perfectly fit our 24 person party. Gudelia, the owner, went above and beyond helping us craft a very reasonably priced but delicious menu. Nearly four months later, we are still getting compliments on the food! Gudelia was very responsive and she and her staff were very professional, but still fun, on the day of our rehearsal dinner. We look forward to frequenting this restaurant as a married couple, and would absolutely host an event here again!
