Ever spend 70 dollars on a meal and eat with plastic silverware? Check out Wauwatiki. There should really be an option to use metal silverware if you are paying premium prices. Not to mention the irony of using plastic silverware at a Hawaiian restaurant.Server was kind.Food was lacking flavor.Drinks were good.Nice atmosphere.
Pretty & yummy cocktails! Came here for a work happy hour which was a fun non-beer change. Not many appetizer options for vegetarians
The most fun you will have at a bar in Wauwatosa. The drinks are delicious and creative. The island inspired food is always fresh and can accommodate food intolerances and allergies. Great place to meet small groups and share, or a romantic date. The staff is excellent, you can tell they are having fun!
The waitress was very kind....however the food was terrible. There's no flavor! Literally none. I'm not even exaggerating. I can't speak on the drink quality because I don't drink alcohol but the food is not worth it. I didn't expect it to be authentic because I didn't see any Hawaiian people...However, for a restaurant of any sort the taste of the food in general was lacking! I would've been better off eating at a diner than here. Please don't go for the food. I'll save you the time and money. You can thank me later.To be fair, the decorations were cute and again, the waitress was nice...but that's it. ??
The drinks and food had unique flavors, which I enjoyed. I appreciated the atmosphere which appears family friendly but also gives of sports bar vibes. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. I recommend this restaurant if you're looking for festive drinks and a fun atmosphere.
My friend and I arrived around 5:05pm before it got busy, we got our drinks within about 15min of ordering. It took another 30min for anyone to ask us if we were done or check on us. Lashanna was our server. Someone finished eating their food next to us from start to finish before we got someone to finally give us our check. Our drinks tasted great!*Second picture shows how much ice takes up the cup for the Piña Colada.
If you come here for the drinks…. It’s not goood, either too strong or no flavor, but the crack fries and the environment is cute. But for a Tiki place you would think the drinks are amazing. Quite disappointed.
Celiac safe gluten free KITCHEN. They have a gf Friday Fish Fry (see photo) with good fries, good slaw and really tasty tropical drinks. (Have eaten here twice. Lose one star due to over-salty fish this last time)
