Was looking for lighter fare and The North Avenue Grill was recommended - the menu is extensive and offers breakfast items as well as traditional grill/diner items. I ended up trying the Hail Caesar wrap which was well-prepared and prepared to go. Hope to visit again soon and try other breakfast combos. Street parking was available when I visited though could be limited depending on time of day.
Went to breakfast this morning. Had an incredible experience. The food was great and the service outstanding! Told the servers that they treated this customer as though I was at a four/five star restaurant. Food served hot, coffee cup refilled as needed and all done w/ a desire to make sure I had a great experience. I'll be back!
Had a nice time here. The staff was friendly. Loved the potato skins appetizers (Just make sure you read the descriptions because it's actually fries)! Limited drink menu, but I found something I enjoyed.
I love the environment, and my waitress was constantly checking on me. I had the Country Fried Steak and Coffee and loved, loved, loved it. The best in Milwaukee hands down. I also felt respected and was very comfortable sitting alone. The music was comforting and felt like I was back at home with my family growing up. Thanks for the Great Service and experience. I will be bringing my babies and spouse back for their food.????
Love the food although menu is a little limited. Very Good Service. It's just very hard to park and then on weekends there is always a long wait.
I can’t even lie north Ave grill has best burger and fries I’ve ever tasted from any restaurant it’s well worth it,I had the peppercorn horsey burger super delicious I recommend north Ave grill and will be back thanks for great service and awesome food.

I have 3 points I would like to make1. I am a general manager in the food service industry and I know how hard it is to have a fully staffed operation these days.2. They food was AMAZING I had the French toast bananas foster... Delicious...3. This rating in the the waitress Kristen F. Her demeanor attitude and they fact that we could literally watch her be a fantastic waitress to other patrons was quite honestly sad too watch. Ever with horrible service we still tipped 10% on our bill. It was Disgusting should have gave the rest of the tip to the kitchen. We have been coming here for years... But I can tell we are not wanted. Thanks
Have enjoyed several meals at North Avenue Grill. However today, was entirely different!! I placed a pick up order for their Friday fish fry (Bluegill and Walleye). Upon review of the orders it was noted that my order was not correct. I called just a common courtesy just to alert them of the order. Well I guess they are not accustom to customers calling in to complain. At no time did I ask request a credit or refund. It was just a courtesy call! I was ask if I could send in
