Take the wife and toddler here occasionally. The back room has a great view of the passing trains which our son adores.Prices seem a touch high at first glance, but the portions are awesome.Love their fresh guacamole, made right at the table and their fajitas are awesome!
Great service. The waiter misunderstood our order and offered to put it back in the kitchen, he requested a remake and tried to be absolutely certain it was correct. Cool to watch guacamole made in front of us. Excellent food. Moderate prices. Allot of food combos are not traditional, food is trendy.
Excellent food and drinks!!
Went to Jose Blue Sombrero and it was nice. The server was very attentive and pleasant. The decor was very festive and quite original. I love the inside and outside patio dining. The open air concept is perfect when it’s not too hot and humid. The chips and salsa were great. My chimichangas were okay; however, I really enjoyed the beans and rice. I would definitely go again as they have an array of margaritas that I must choose from. Thumbs up!!!
My husband and I love Jose’s Blue Sombrero and had some of our first dates at the restaurant. We chose to use them for our wedding rehearsal dinner because of this. I will start by saying it was a VERY ROCKY start to the planning process due to some management roles changing and other issues. However once we started working with Nickolas things really changed. He was very organized and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Things went rather smoothly the day of and the food was great. We had many guests ask to take food home and also stated how good it was. Was everything perfect? No, but it was a fun time and the food and drinks were great. Everyone left feeling happy and full!
That's one hopping place, especially at happy hour! Very cool atmosphere & decor! Ordered some chips and guacamole & a lady rolled up a cart of all the ingredients & made it right in front of us! ? SO good!!
Love their food and their margaritas!
My sister and I were from out of town on a late rainy Weds night. Initially we were seated at a table at the back of the restaurant, but it was pretty noisy with families and the piped in music. I’m hard of hearing so asked to be moved. Only fairly quiet spot was at the bar. The bartender serving made our dinner enjoyable to say the least! Attentive with a great sense of humor. It seemed he was also the wait staff for the entire bar dining area. He was busy, yet managed to keep track of us. Ordered a hard cider but they were out. Eventually settled on Sangria and a strawberry margarita. Ordered nachos and enchiladas. Tons of food! Took half of the nachos home. I think they were drowning in cheese sauce, but good. I do believe, like a lot of restaurants, they were working short handed. But still managed to give us great service. The noise level seemed loud to me, so that’s the reason for the 4 stars. It’s hard to talk over the music. If the bar had been noisy also, I don’t think we would have stayed. Overall an enjoyable evening.
Extremely disappointed with the reservations/waitlist policy. 8-10 people at approx $50/person at a minimum and you don't even make an attempt to try to seat us and get our business?
I've been to one of there other locations in the past and enjoyed it. Found out this location was really close to my house and went for lunch yesterday with a friend. I wasn't disappointed. The food was good and so was the service. Nice atmosphere and a fun dining experience.
