Being from Chicago I'm allowed to be picky...that said, Dr. Dawgs has never let me down - staff is amazing, love BOTH locations...so I can be on the east or west side and get my Chi dog done right! If you haven't checked them out - your loss (and more for me :)

Sign on door says open Tues through Sat until 8. Google says open till 8. I arrive on a Thursday at 6:30 PM and the lights were out and the door locked. Moving on from this place.
Kind of pricy for what you get. The food was just so-so...the chicken sandwich tasted burnt and the fries were not crispy. If your on the fence... Go somewhere else.

The food and service was terrible. I ordered a $13.99 Italian beef and there was barely any beef it was a bread sandwich. The bread is also poor quality. I will never eat at this location again!!!
Good food, especially the fries, the place is super clean and the staff was friendly. I will definitely be going back.
Cheese was gritty in texture and tasted terrible for cheese dog and hotdog was not beef, fries were undercooked and the price for 2 cheese dogs, an order of fries, and a soda was a ridiculous $21. If you're considering going here just go to Sammy's taste of Chicago.
My boyfriend went to this facility today, because it was a new store the line was extremely long, but he still chose to wait and was aware that they were giving out envelopes to people for their inconvenience. He got a free t-shirt for the wait but when he tried to redeem it they only had medium, so instead of that he received a jar of relish. This is after waiting in line over 30 min, then waiting for his food another 20 min or so. When the food came it was cold, the bun was stale and personally the service was horrible. Also with the order was a bowl of chili and a vanilla shake, which you were out of ice cream for the shake and out of chili. When you open a new store it should be better staffed and at least have enough items to give out when people try to redeem their coupon you give them. At this time with covid going on, we are very disappointed in your facility and don't plan to visit anytime soon.
The food is very good. The place is very clean and the employees are friendly.
