I absolutely love it here! Do they have issues? Yes. Name a restaurant that doesn't have issues and I'll show you a meat eating vegan. Honestly, all restaurants are having issues recovering from the pandemic. Service industry. They deal with so much more than anyone notices, and that needs to be understood. Luckily, I have a Panera Bread in my neighborhood, where if they don't have my 1st option, they're able to recommend another. If they have a long wait, they let me know, and are more than accommodating towards the guest experience! This Cafe is my home Cafe, and will be for some time. I love the associates and their smiles when I come in. Whatever they're going through, they have a loyal customer with me.
This is a lovely place if you want the manager to yell at you for having a disability. Literally yell. Never dealt with a more foul mouthed manager. Kids were there and people turning their heads to look at me like I was someone that was going to infect them with something. I will never return, I will always convince people to go elsewhere and I will be contacting corporate. No other place has made me embarrassed to have a disability before. I cant believe anybody could be such a terrible person.
I have not been here since they started adding all the new stuff to the menu. I'm a fan. We had to cater some lunches in the area and I was able to pick up an honest variety of sandwiches, salads, flatbreads, and sweets. I've noticed that the prices are going up, but they're not unreasonable especially if you are more or less catering. They are reasonably fast in getting the stuff prepared. Not always a huge fan of the traffic and parking situation, just because of how that intersection comes together but it's definitely not their fault. I've always been able to find a space.
Several weeks ago my order was missing a bowl of chicken soupAfter talking with management I was promised a coupon in the mailWhich I never received. We are frequent patrons of this location have to say I am disappointed
All in all an okay place to grab a quick bite. Prices are on the higher side overall for the quality of ingredients, but the baked goods are tasty. Love the orange cranberry muffins. Cookies are good too. Overall though, for Wausau, it brings a slightly unique touch not common around here.
Ordered mac and cheese and was given these 2 spoons, clearly dirty and completely disgusting with who knows what. Not sure how anybody thought it would be acceptable to send these out. We ate with plastic spoons.
My mom had the chicken wild rice soup and a grilled cheese Ihad the French onion soup and the Fuji salad. It was so good we didnt have any left for a boggy bag.
Having to wait 45 min in the drive thru when your lunch break is only 30 min is very very disappointing This has happened before, but never this long. Lost my lunch business till improvements are seen. Even Culver’s does faster than this.
Went way out of our way for “quality fast food”. Slow service, bagel over toasted, Panera needs to write descriptions of the items on their menu so people know what they are ordering. And no breakfast on the weekend, does not make sense. Not impressed.
There food is awesome and the people that work there are really really nice and they actually show respect for people unlike other places. I give them alot of credit because they know how to treat people.
