Great place to eat. Great atmosphere!!
I understand having to wait longer food but this was incredibly disappointing! two kids meals and 2 salads took over 45 minutes and then the order wasn't correct. beer cheese soup was amazing as always but french onion tasted nothing like french onion. the waitress was new and clearly needed more oversight! I don't blame her but it was frustrating seeing more than enough staff in a restaurant that was not busy and still have such a terrible experience.
First things first.... ASK FOR CHLOE <3 She was absolutely wonderful!! She goes above and beyond, she held awesome conversations and made STELLAR long islands for us! We went a total of three times during our trip to Wausau and had amazing experiences and food each and every time! Their cheese curds are out of this world, the fried pickles, nachos, and beer cheese soup were the best we've ever had. Their wing flavors were great as well. We had the wisconsin sourdough and the county stadium burger and were blown away. All in all this is a wonderful place to go with family, friends, coworkers or solo (you will most definitely make some friends :) ) they have a really nice bar set up and tons of TVs. We loved watching the Stanley cup finals there. 10/10 would recommend and WILL be back!!!!
This place knows how to Burger. The beer selection is phenomenal.I had the Hickory Cheddar Burger with Buttermilk batter onion rings. The Burger was juicy and delicious. Easily the best burger I've had in months, if not this year so far. The onion rings we're huge slices of sweet onion, at least an inch thick. Crispy, delicious batter.I washed it down with a Third Space Heavenly Haze. That's one fantastic beer.Wait staff were decent. Nothing bad at all here.Great experience, would for sure come again for another burger.
Cream of chicken and vegetables =brinyInedible. Chicken fajita nachos, pile of onions, couple of green pepper strands.The jack cheese not only look but taste like some bad roux cold, grainy, awful and the chicken...missing.The potato blue cheese salad was just a pile of potatoes swimming in some kind of pinkish liquid looked like some kind of soup. The burger dry and tasteless. We toughed we are in the wrong restaurant.Our previous experience in other locations has been awesome, the burgers are great, the potato salad has that tangy flavor from the blue cheese, so good!Big disappointment! First time here, certainly won't comeback. The only good thing in this visit was the waitress great customer service, tried to helped us but even her said that the salad wasn't right. We were heading North when notice Milwaukee burger decided to grab a bite.But definitely...I dont recommend this location for food.
Food order never showed up after about an hour and a half. It was just me - I ordered a smashed burger on a weeknight. The bartender was very busy but attentive to me. After waiting for almost two hours (and watching other food orders be fulfilled around me, despite ordering after me) I left. Good beer but food service was non-existent. No reason to return.
If you haven’t been into the Wausau location since last year your in for a treat. The new GM Jake has brought a fun atmosphere back to the place and the employees sure do appreciate it. The vibe was awesome and the staff very attentive. Perfect selections of music and sports on the TV’s. A few updates to the decor have been made including new, extremely comfy bar stools, real menus, and some old but new favorites with some twists. Of course the food was fabulous as always, but the atmosphere was something wonderful and new! I highly recommend going!
We always have a good meal here as the burgers and other food is outstanding. This time I settled for the Double Butter Smash Burger. It was good, but I should have subbed out the American Cheese for Cheddar. I am not a big American cheese fan. But the burger was still very good. Get the Cajun seasoned frys! Also I had 10 spicy garlic traditional wings. Yum!
