Sound was loud - but it was supposed to be, as there was live music on the square! Food was great . Service was very good but wait staff seemed a bit rushed, trying to get orders. On Wednesday, music on the block night, out door tables are for basically 2 hrs. So staff could relax a bit. Maybe they were short staffed? But interrupting conversation is a no no without apology to take an order. But, they were attentive, but, they might have check again for more drinks after clearing tables. Unless I missed it we sat there for 30 + minutes conversing and listening to music. We got check and paid earlier so I guess they assumed no more drinks.

The food at Malarkey's is always amazing. We love to go when they have live music!! Between the delicious food and awesome music it's one of the best places to visit in the Wausau area for a meal.

Our waitress Courtney was awesome! Food prices are high for meal size. Cheese curds are #1
