Much better flavor than a national brand chicken chain. Portions are good with reasonable prices. Plus treats for my puppy! We'll go back.
Fried chicken like the old days. This is what KFC used to be in the 70s. Have you seen the size of wings and drum sticks lately? Little pricier but worth it.

The pot pies are over the top! When I first moved to Wausau a couple months ago, the pie felt warm and comforting in my new home. The corn and biscuit were not the best, but the chicken was amazing.

I've always loved Lee's chicken. It used to be easier to get when they had restaurants in Appleton and Wisconsin Rapids. I tried the chicken sandwich and it wasn't Popeyes but it is certainly better than Chick filet or any of the burger chain offerings. I don't think it has been remodeled since the 70's but that doesn't change Lee's recipe... After all it is famous!
inconviently located, missed the entrance twice only to find that they close AT 4 PM ON SATURDAYS, WHAT KIND OF FAST FOOD PLACE IS OPEN A MEASILY 5 HOURS ON ONE DAYhorribly anti consumer structure, even mcdonalds is better about taking care of their customers, and not even they have lost my business yet
Love this local place and the employees go out of their way to make sure everything in your order is correct. They are great!
