I judge a taco place by their Lengua and La Taqueria did not disappoint.It's a good thing I don't live in Wausau otherwise I'd be here twice a week.If you're just driving through, stop and grab a pile of tacos they are real deal legit. Won't break the bank either. Legit OG tacos for an amazing price!
Delicious !!! Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been too. The wait was relatively short. I ordered the asada bowl with churros and elote. Everything tasted very fresh and delicious. I would definitely return if I was in the area again. Restaurant is also fairly large, very clean and offers outdoors seating! I would highly recommend!!

My favorite place for Mexican in the area! Always friendly staff, fresh and delicious food, and the best margaritas in town. The shrimp tacos are amazing, so is the HUGE Cali burrito. Also, their tres leche cakes are so fluffy and not too sweet, the perfect dessert
My favorite fish tacos! Delicious margaritas too! I have been going back and forth between the cucumber and the mango margaritas because they are both so refreshing! Love the bit of Tajín they add to the rim!Good prices, consistent food, and friendly staff. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer, and you pick up your tray once your food is ready.
Now this is a burrito. I ate the first half and realized I had forgotten to take picture. They are giant and have great flavor. Fun dinner out with my wife and daughter. Best street tacos in the Wausau area.

Best restaurant in town. I love their Fire Burrito and Flaming Cali Fries. I eat here at least twice a month. I have never been disappointed. Food has always been delicious, hot, and of high quality. I cannot recommend enough!
Food is like Mexican food you get in California. We loved it. Place was overly crowded though. Need some crowd control during lunch hours.
