Was an OK place to eat. Better food quality than most fast food, but fries were pretty greasy and bacon was overdone for my BLT. Also, thought it was weird blt was on regular burger bun, but it tasted OK.Overall, I think the establishment had an all American, clean cut diner look, and the soda dispensers were these super cool touch screen (with qr code touchless option using your phone), with like 10-15 options. Coca cola made them with this vintage look pretty cool.
Burger and fries were great. A little on the pricey side, a little slow. Ketchup dispenser was out, tables were dirty and I didn't see anyone bothering with wiping them off.

5 guys fries are really what make this burger joint. The fries are fresh cut, skin on and ample!! The burgers are freshly made to order, everything is put together before your eyes, there is no kitchen in the back, it is open so customers can observe. Grab a shake to complete your all-American fare! Prices are the downside, 4 orders of burgers and fries with drinks and 1 shake, came to $80! This makes 5 Guys a place I do not frequent, though it wa a good meal, it wasn't that good.
Took grand kids out to lunch. Had good meal. 1 hot dog 1 grilled cheese and 1 burgers. Great fries
It was great. The best hamburger I ever had the best place to go in wausau.it puts all the other fast food places to shame.
Why is this placed hyped so much 10.99 for a burger that isnt even cooked medium color. By the way 10.99 just for a double meat sandwich. Kwik Trips burgers taste 100% better hands down.The fries really? This place is for rich dumn people. For 4 people you can spend 50+ dollars. This place prices are extreme.With the way of the prices are going and inflation this business will not stay open for long.
Ordered food for the family. We have ordered five guys in the past and the fries were always great and gave you more than enough. Today we ordered 5 hamburgers three large fries that were half full and cold. Five Guys in Wausau will never get my business again.
My daughter and I went here before we went home, it was listed as a "Fast Food place"...what a joke!!! 1st & last time eating at "Five Guys" for us. We placed our order & paid. There was no customers currently. We saw no workers, started looking at the menu, eventually a worker came out she talked but didn't take our actual order, some older guy came and did. She started to prepare our food, another guy around the age of her started to prepare our food. Before you get your food they ask for tips on and off the card reader. No kids menu.Went to get our drinks...One machine is broke, that's minor though.Went to get a little cup of ketchup after 4 partial pumps it was completely empty.There was hardly any straws, 8-11 more after our 2 were taken.0 napkins in the napkin container. I told 1 of them when they bagged our food. He said "there are napkins in the bag." I said "ok but your thing is completely empty."There was not even 10 tables and half of them were still dirty with dried food, crumbs and food chunks. I think it was 8 tables. The corner one looked like instead of sweeping it up they just shoved it under 1 table all day. A bunch of fries and trash into a big pile.While we ate a FOURTH employee, another younger guy, comes out and talks with them.FOUR PEOPLE! No excuse for it to be that sloppy. 2 seperate female customers did pickup and left. The 1st came back within 10 minutes and they must have forgot her ketchup. She went to put some in a cup. The pumper was still empty! He gave her some packets when she said it was empty.They ask for a tip beforehand. Can eat whatever they make on break. Making $18+ an hour?! One of the worst places EVER!! One & done. NEVER AGAIN. ?
I think Five Guys has great food. We eat at Five Guys when we come across one. They are far and few in my area.
