I first ate at 6th Street Filling Station in 2019 and was impressed with the great tasting food and friendly, prompt service. I stopped in again a month ago, had the Model T Benny (the best classic eggs benedict in town!), and have enjoyed breakfast there every Saturday since then. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I arrive shortly after they open, so I'm in-and-out in under an hour. If you arrive later, check their novel traffic light indicator to find out how long your wait will be.

Have been living in the wausau area for a long time and (for some reason) haven't tried the filling station. After FINALLY trying, I am ashamed of myself on how I havnt yet. Could be the hours are different then most, could be (from what I know) no advertising and etc. Was amazed by the care, knowledge and love these people put into their food. I had the lumberjack omelet. To start the egg was not over/under cooked. It was just piped with ingredients, not to mention hand blended (well seasoned) sausage and house made hollandaise sauce. It was just well crafted and fresh. Ordered pick up and was done when they said it would. The prices were well in reason for the quality. Each member of family thoroughly LOVE everything they ordered. Ima say..thee best omelet I've had in the wausau area and will be making this a every week stop.
Although the wait for the food was long and the waiter a Lil rude..the food was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! So so delicious and the place is so so cute!!! Definitely glad we tried it!!
