Talking about the best dining experience, well that is exactly what I got here! The owner’s and staff are all so personable and it was a delightful to interact with them all, let me tell you, I am plant based and when I tell you they catered to me for my meal! Now the food… we got a good relationship because it was absolutely amazing. The texture the flavor all were just divine. Forget the 5/5 they get a 10! Get here and enjoy an amazing experience!
We had an AMAZING first experience at Tofte’s! I do not know if they accept walk-ins but the hostess recommended to get a reservation a couple of weeks in advance.Everything was great! The staff was super friendly and courteous, our waitress took us through the menu and showed us what would be the best way to order (some items are better if they’re shared). The food was perfect! Right temperature, cooked perfectly, and delicious! 5/5 recommend this place! Definitely coming back to try more items on their menu!!!Items we've tried so far(will continue to update):Duck Confit Tostada 5/5Fried Chicken 5/5Mushroom Risotto 5/5Tenderloin 5/5 (only change was no horseradish)Blackened Shrimp 5/5Braised Pork Belly 5/5Meatloaf 5/5Sticky Toffee Pudding 5/5
I truly enjoyed my experience at this establishment. I brought my mother here after diligent research to find a place that would cater to vegan and those who are gluten free. Our entrance through the door, we were quickly greeted. We had reservations, which we were 20 minutes early for and the host offered to get us drinks as we waited. She was personable and respectful. Being a person of color, we are looked at as people who don’t tip and are super needy, but we weren’t treated as such. The fine dining experience was a 10/10. The entire staff was delightful and educated on the menu. The entire experience was above and beyond what anyone could greeted ask for and the food was phenomenal. I honestly prefer their kale and collard dip over any other restaurants spinach dip.Thank you all so much for your kindness and delightful entrees. Please visit, if you haven’t!
I cannot say enough good things about this fine establishment. I made a reservation here for my husbands birthday on a Saturday night at 7:30. We were sat immediately and ordered some drinks which arrived promptly. My martini was excellent. We then ordered a series of plates and they each came out in perfect sequence. We ordered the braised pork belly, the gulf shrimp, the octopus, and the mushroom risotto to start. I would love to dive in to each plate and explain how fantastic everything was but it's not possible without actually tasting it. My husband was actually speechless after he took his first bite of the pork belly. I have never seen this before! We have traveled the country and had a lot of fine cuisine and this really takes the cake. In addition to the savory food, our waitress Claire was excellent and on point throughout the evening. My husband was so amazed by the food that he asked to compliment the chef, and we actually had a great conversation and he took the time to listen to what my husband had to say about the food. All in all, this is 10/5 stars hands down. And this is not the first time we will eat here.Whoever gave this less than 5 stars, shame on you.
Recommended by friends and family and thought this would a great place to try with our family. Chose the Chef's choice so we could try a number of items. We did ask for the octopus but the rest was chef chosen. Appeared to us that they picked the easy not as interesting items, plus two of them were chicken! The Amish chicken with mashed potatoes was nothing special and quite dried out, and the perch was better left for a Friday fish fry at your local diner. Felt to us we were getting tastings of what wasn't selling that evening.. Cool place, good drinks, staff was friendly but there is limited parking. Maybe just a bad night?
Tofte's Table is one of my husband's and my favorite restaurants to visit! The food is absolutely delicious. The service is some of the best you will find around. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything they serve, from the food to the drinks. If you want to get a table, I recommend making reservations well in advance, especially if you are trying to go on a Friday or Saturday evening. They are always busy. Everything is very clean with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. You absolutely must try Tofte's Table!
I highly recommend the Chefs choice menu if you’re going with a group of 6 or more -$45/person for a 6-7 course meal that includes dessert ! (Drinks additional) I also recommend the seasonal sangria , I’m usually not a sangria person but this is the second time I’ve been there and also the second one I’ve tried and have been impressed by them, it’s not too sweet -has great flavor and goes down quickly! ? overall Everything was so delicious-great presentation -awesome staff ! A must try if you’ve never been here!
Excellent food and service! Loved everything from the second we walked in until we left. Very friendly and the food presentation it’s absolutely beautiful!
This is a gem of a restaurant! Food is spectacular! I came across it when searching for a restaurant in the Waukesha area to take my boyfriend to for his birthday. He's lived in Waukesha for over 12 years and never experienced this place. He too was extremely impressed. We had the small portion Mushroom Risotto, Scallops and Shrimp dish. All were delish and very satisfying. The New Fashion is definitely worth a try too! We both talked about coming back to experience more.
This review is based solely on the fact that couples or small parties are unable to experience the tasting menu. Menu looked great and was even willing to set a reservation for my wife and I weeks out to experience it as not many places in the area offer a tasting menu, but receiving a no accommodation no exception reply was a big disappointment
