I ordered a Reuben and fries, the sandwich was thick and flavorful, the fries were however just average, which is fine, the beef noodle soup was wonderful, and a treat for the tastebuds, the large rolls were warm and amazing, the only disappointment was the mozzarella sticks, You could taste the old oil they were fried in, but everything else was good, or Excellent. The service was prompt and pleasant, the atmosphere was inviting and almost home like,To quote Daym drops (YouTube food critic)"A 5 banger all day BABY!)Most definitely will be back.
Nice neighborhood restaurant. Went for breakfast. Hadn't gone in two years due to Covid. The menu was pretty comprehensive with omelets, wrap, and egg entrees. Prices were reasonable, service was great. Coffee was kind of weak tho!
This used to be one of my grandparents favorite places to eat. Their breakfast items are fine, as those are truly hard to mess up, but my mom and I went here for the first time since losing my grandparents last year and the food and service was poor. I have gotten the chicken Alfredo in the past and it is usually good. Today’s batch tasted like a lean cuisine. The chicken was fine but that’s about it. Even the garlic toast was bad somehow. The waitress never checked how our food was but came to ask if we wanted a box. When I said no but had a full plate of pasta left, she of course asked what was wrong and passed it along, however when it was mentioned to the person at the register they just said sorry and acted like they didn’t care (even though they asked how everything was) and didn’t even offer a comp or to discount the meal even though I only ate the chicken out of the pasta and a bite or two of the toast. Would have gladly paid the $4 for the soup and dessert I ate that came with the meal however absolutely absurd to ask how everything was and really not care when feedback is given. Sadly, we will not be back here. My grandpa would be sad to know his breakfast spot on Wednesday with his buddies for years has really gone downhill.
Average breakfast. My sausage tasted old. Service is good. Staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are pretty standard.Wish they served breakfast potatoes over hash potatoes.Place is very outdated and smells outdated. Atmosphere is family friendly.
My boyfriend and I found this spot by chance one Friday night and we’ve gone back almost every weekend since - I cannot rave enough about the quality of the food and service! Prices are insanely good, the portions are large and the food is always fabulous. Waitstaff is so kind and an absolute joy to interact with. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Me and my friend were there today February 8th. The service was terrible. The food was cold. The hostess blamed it on the cook but in reality the waitress let it set in the window to long. We watched and timed how long it was in window. When I brought this to waitresses attention she said I'll take it back and warm it up for you! I had already eaten off of it. Just a bad experience all the way around.
1st time here for me but the rest of my family has been here. I thought it was very good and our server Nicky was very pleasant, didn't frown on writing 4 different/ separate checks. Sure to be back.
Best Gyro this side of Athens. Fast friendly service and affordable. If you leave hungry there's something wrong with you.
