Customer service is excellent. The fish fry is amazing. I've been sampling fish fries all over Waukesha and Pewaukee and Rochester Deli is top of my list for best fish fry. The tar tar sauce for the fried cod is the best tar tar sauce I have ever tasted. I really like the baked cod with the buerre Blanc sauce (not sure how to spell it). The red potatoes and potato pancakes are just so good. My husband loves their macaroni salad and peanut butter cookies.
Laura and the gang @ Rochester Deli did a wonderful job today with the order we placed ahead of time for today's St. Patty's Day lunch. I was able to pre-order days in advance so I could pick it up at a specific time this morning. I did everything over email and the crew was very responsive! When I arrived this morning they had everything ready, marked and organized for us. And the food was absolutely delicious!! Thanks guys - the lunch was a big hit!
The food is good but the portions are small for what you pay compared to other delis in the area.
My favorite place for lunch in Waukesha (and among my top places generally). The sandwiches are generous and flavorful. I recommend the Ruben (but all are good). I'm always too full to have any of the deserts (but they look good--someday. . .)
I was honestly thinking of giving a four only cause I had to deal with a nasty customer a few months ago that didn't like that me and my daughter were eating Pringles juice box and I had a Starbucks double shot. Her and her husband were complaining that we should've just bought the chips there that it would've cost a few dollars trust me we could've afforded the chips (I own two businesses) however we didn't care for them. However we love their ham sandwich and coleslaw we get them both just about Everytime we're there. I also love that every time we go there the staff are always nice. We've been coming on n off for 7 years all other stops have been ?? that's y I gave a five.
I hadn't been here in several years and thought we'd give the place another try. Won't make that mistake again.
Nice deli in downtown Waukesha. Reuben was really good with lean corned beef. Friendly service. Soft drinks and some beer available by the bottle.
Best pastrami in town! Bakery is amazing. Dan & Laura owns great deli. They have the trifecta going on = Fast, friendly and delicious.

I visited today for lunch, I noticed very busy but they had enough people to handle.I had a turkey cheese sand and order brownie .. food was really good and Brownie even better.. I bought some raw Honey that they sell.I know I will be going back..and also bringing my family there.. friendly staff. Just a great place.. my niece told me about this Deli..so thankful that she did..
