Very good food and service! Very authentic. I would recommend.

Went here for the first time, because it is a favorite spot for a number of people who were in our party. This family owned and operated Mexican restaurant looks like a small place from the outside, and though not huge, was able to accommodate our party of 9 at 5:00 on a Wednesday. The table chips and salsa, refried beans and rice were good and the classic margaritas tasty without too much alcohol. Though not a fan of corn tortillas, I took a chance and ordered the homemade corn tortillas, which were absolutely out of this world! They were warm and soft, and like everything else we had, extremely fresh. I wanted something spicy, so asked the owner what she recommended. She offered the Lomo De Res with a combination of the Verde and Arbol salsas. She was spot on! It was spicy enough for me without being over the top. The shredded beef burrito was a generous size, and also very flavorful. Although not on our side of town, this place was worth the drive and I can't wait to go back!

The BEST authentic Mexican restaurant I have found in a long time! Prices are reasonable...the place is always packed, but we never have to wait very long for a table.

Delicious. The chorizo here is exceptional! They have homemade corn tortillas. The rice and beans are also top notch.

Definitely muy rico food. First time visit was a 5 start experience. Good food. Hand made tortillas. Salsa was fresh and subtle without any extra saltiness. Sauce for shrimp was spicy with lingering flavor. Lots of Places to sit outside and inside. Great service. Loved it.

Cute little place with a homey feel. Food was delicious. Staff was welcoming and very friendly. I like to order all ala carte items so I can try several dishes but not fill up on rice and beans. Had a chicken tostada, ground beef taco on their handmade corn tortilla, a cheese enchilada, and a steak burrito. Portions are sizable. I ate everything but the burrito while there and brought that home for dinner tonight. Everything tasted wonderful. The chicken was moist and tender and the handmade tortilla on the taco was fluffy and very tasty. The others in the group all enjoyed their meals as well.

So friendly, great margaritas, ok food , although me & friend just really was more into the good ole margaritas! Was wonderful first timers experience. Yes well recommended

I ordered the huarache dinner today. I have to say that it wasn't what I expected. Typically, hauraches are filled with refried beans with green or red hot sauces and white cheese and onions. They are a larger version of a sope. This was like having a tostada. First off, the food wasn't hot enough. It was barely warm. The huarache was super thin, beans on top with ground beef, a smattering of lettuce and a full bag of cheese and it was American cheddar cheese. I feel sorry for Mexican restaurants that can't be truly authentic. Our waitress was nice and the food came quickly. Yet, I was not impressed with my meal at all. I doubt I will return. I didn't see the value.

This was my family and I’s first time eating here and it was a good experience. The staff was very nice and our waitress was polite and helpful. The margaritas were very tasty and came in large portions which was great. The food was good but nothing too amazing. I enjoyed my tacos and sides. I was not a huge fan of the salsa but my family liked it. Overall I would recommend this restaurant and would likely come back.

I lived in the deep South of Texas next to the Mexican boarder and visited Mexico nearly every weekend for 3 years AND I married a Mexican woman over 17 years ago so I like to think I know good authentic Mexican food when I taste it. This is just that! Their bistek has the best flavor of any other Mexican meat I’ve ever tasted. Normally I’m a fajita guy but this blew even any fajita I’ve ever had out of the water.Visited this restaurant on a work trip with some colleagues from Germany and Italy some of whom can sometimes be hard to understand. The waitress was very patient with everyone, the owner came out to answer questions about the menu for one guest that had gluten concerns, and the chef came to make sure everything was good. When I complimented the food he explained that everything was from old family recipes and that they make everything there fresh, even the Margaritas. As he explained, I could clearly see his pride and passion. Man! That’s what great food is all about!Excellent food, excellent service! 5 stars, no question!!
