We love coming here. The food is always very delicious and appropriately priced. They have a lot of burger combos and great vegetarian options. Service is on top of everything and timely. Aside from the quirky decor which adds to the experience, the rooftop dining is where it is at. If you come during busy times expect a small waiting period to be seated up there. While you wait pull up a seat at the bar and enjoy any number of cocktails or beers. My wife is a fan of the Sour Suzie and they have my favorite IPA on tap. Street outdoor seating is excellent as well. We have been coming here for a long time and will continue to do so. If you’re in Waukesha, definitely no questions asked, visit this place!!!!!
I have been coming to People's Park for years and love it! They make strong drinks, it's an interesting atmosphere, and the servers are so friendly.The old fashioned is always delicious, their spring rolls are so good, and on fridays, the fish fry is mouth watering.Despite all of these ups, only four stars because:Even if the restaurant is half full, you can wait upwards of 20+ min for a water. The coffee is served in a glass cup? This might just be a personal gripe but I'd like a mug please. And finally, some menu items are disappointing and IMO overpriced (looking at you bruschetta).If you're lucky enough to be in Waukesha though, definitely stop here for a bite!
Food and service were good. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal, drinks & dessert. The staff was friendly and attentive. Only minor issue was my burger was ordered medium rare, but came out medium well. They looked to also have some good flatbread pizza options, but unfortunately they are only available after 9pm on Fri/Sat, so we couldn't get them on this trip. Note: the flat bread pizzas are available throughout the day during the rest of the week. The rooftop seating is always nice when it gets a little warmer!
Always great food here! Very cool decor as well. The Caesar salad was delicious.

The food was decent, good service. We got there about 30 minutes after they opened and they were already out of the sweet potato browns. So I got fruit instead and upcharged $2! I find that BSGreat coffee
This appears to be a very popular place. It was not my favorite. The menu was too much for me as a picky eatter. I ordered plain french toast which could have tested great if it was not soggy.
Sat upstairs and it's a neat spot. The food was very good and the fried beans had the right amount of crunch. The atmosphere has a very eclectic feel as does their drink menu. Just be aware that the restaurant is quite dark later in the evening.
