Food is great! Never had anything that I did not like. Staff is friendly and very accommodating.
We are new in town and decided to try Michael's. The vibe is old school classic Italian. It was a hot day and the cold air-conditioning was wonderful. We had the privilege to have Suzanne as our fantastic server. She gave great suggestions and was genuinely kind and friendly. Her suggestion was the best! We really enjoyed our food and my husband said it was the best Italian we had in a long time. We will will be trying the pizza tonight.
Michael's is a local classic, great old school vibe to the place, great service, great people, and the food is authentic and delicious up and down the menu from pizza to pasta to high end meals. One of our favorites. The only weak link is the online ordering system for take-out. It just doesn't work properly, and the staff knows it and comments on it every time there is a mix-up. The ordering is quite easy from the customer perspective, but from there, the restaurant doesn't seem to receive the orders reliably, and communications regarding when the food will be ready / is ready are very unreliable. For example, sometimes the restaurant has no record of the order even though I have a confirmation email and text noting the order was received. Other times, I get the text that my food is ready for pick up the day after we have eaten it. Michael's is worthy of a better system.
Definitely a great Italian food place. Good times and good food. Great service.Pizzas were appetizing and delicious. Dough was perfectly cooked. Roasted wild mushroom ravioli was great. Just a small thing, the pasta was on hard side but stuffing was delicious. The pesto sauce over it was creamy and everything came together in one bite.Handicapped parking, wheelchair accessible. Elegant lighting interior. Rest rooms are clean and neat, but I doubt it can be accessed with wheel chair, as the door is very narrow. Entrance faces south.I will return to this restaurant and recommend other to try out.
The food here is always amazing. The environment, cleanliness and customer service makes this one of our favorite places to dine-in. Despite the restaurant being extremely busy for Mother's Day, the service and environment was excellent; they didn't make us feel like they were in a rush to get orders done. Lynne is an awesome server. Always has a smile on her face, and even though our orders are usually complicated, she always gets it right. The chefs must be the best around; the food is always the best regardless of how busy it is.
Have eaten here several times. It has not disappointed ever. Great full dining night. Before dinner drink in bar area. Then always great service and food in dining area. Have dined with a group of 2 , 5 and 8. Food was always delicious and timely. Have had many of the entees and all very good
Food was excellent. Alfredo with chicken and mushrooms was the best I’ve ever had. Love the old charm decor. I can’t drink alcohol due to health issue, but they had some amazing cocktails that I would love to try.
Pizza was definitely over cooked and dry. Dissatisfied. Our waitress was kind and understanding. We used to eat here a lot years ago and pizza was always good. We were told “that’s the way they make all their pizza”.
Very sad they do not accept reservations. The place was very full at 5pm on Saturday. The food is very good. Prices are acceptable for the quality and quantity of food. They are the kind of Italian restaurant that most people seek out. I recommend Michael's.
I’m not sure where to even begin. We called for a reservation at 4pm for 12. After being seated, it took 20 min to be greeted by our waitress. After the rest of our group joined us, they were not even asked if they wanted a drink and had to go to the bar to get one and had to ask a passing buss boy for a water. When she finally took our order, she seemed annoyed and even rolled her eyes a couple of times and made hand gestures to us to hurry up. We had to ask for our bread for 20 minutes, when asking where it was the waitress snapped that it was an extra charge for the garlic bread (we didn’t ask for garlic bread just the bread that came with our soup and salad.) we did not receive our food until 5:30pm. The food was absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. We were given our checks, several were messed up and had other peoples orders on them, we figured that out amongst ourselves to avoid any additional eye rolls. When talking about the horrible service later in the night, 2 of us that shared a check with 2 meals on it realized we were both charged for the same check. One of us had a tan at the bar that walked over to close it while the other paid the waitress at the table and walked out. The guest that paid her tan at the bar walked back to the table and the waitress told her the check was not paid so she paid it again. We called after finding this out and checking our bank statements and were treated terribly by the management. He would not listen and was very clear that he was trying not to give the refund. I got upset and told him he needed to reverse one of the payments immediately, he started cursing at me and hung up. I am not sure how this establishment is still open. Very disappointed. I will also be reporting this to the BBB and disputing the charge with my bank. If you’re reading this trying to decide if this is what you want for dinner, do yourself favor and go to Olive Garden.
