Great food Service was friendly but slow
This place use to be better. Went there at about 2:30 pm for lunch, it took us a hour to get our food. We sat for about 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. Another 30 went by before our food order was taken. They didn't seem too busy because everyone around us was getting food. They did have a graduation group there. When our food came it was bland and didn't taste very good. Tamales were definitely microwaved. All in all service was terrible and food was so-so. Hopefully you have a better experience but there are better Mexican restaurants out there.
I came on a recommendation from a friend. I wasn’t in love with it but it wasn’t bad either.The chips and hot sauce could have been much better had the chips not been prepared far earlier than they were served. They were definitely home made but days earlier and were borderline stale.The shrimp cocktail was good but lacked a little flavor although loaded with shrimp.I ordered a shredded chicken Gordita and was brought a shredded beef burrito with a piece of melted sliced white cheese on top. It was ok but It was loaded with warm lettuce and tomatoes and that turned me off so I stopped eating it after two bites. I would have sent it back but the server came back thirty minutes after he dropped it off so I was ready to leave by then.Also, Diet Pepsi is the only diet they offer and if you are a Pepsi hater(or Diet Coke enthusiast) such as myself you are stuck with water from a dirty glass.All in all, I would not come back. The food was bland and service wasnt great.
I ordered from here through grub hub. I will never order from this place again. They should be ashamed for the trashy food they gave me. Something as simple as nachos with cheese was horrible. The nachos were soggy, the chips were not fresh or even crunchy at that. The chips were definitely old. The tostadas were soggy, how is that possible? This food tasted old and microwaved at best. All of my food was cold as well. I asked for utensils and salsa cups, but they did not provide those with my order. The paper bag was soggy as well. I don’t ever write reviews, but this was a horrible experience. Their rice also is bright orange and looks like it’s out of a box. I have never seen or tasted such horrible Mexican food before. I cannot recommend this place whatsoever and have no idea how they have as many stars as they do.
Told us the table be ready in 20 mins. Ended up waiting for an hour. While we were waiting we ordered a round of beer and paid it at the bar. When our table was ready we were seated and told they couldn't split the order. Food was excellent except fish taco… and the service was great. Only problem we had was how hard is it to split a ticket by paying different cards. They said they couldn’t even do that as well…So if you are coming here with big group of people. You will only get one ticket for their comfort. Funny thing is they could have gotten more tips if they had split the ticket from individual person. Now… they won’t even do so…
A Must VisitExcellent food and atmosphere. Staff was very polite. My waiter was extremely professional and made sure I had everything I needed by checking up on me multiple times. Prices are great with fairly large portions to back that up. Great tasting food. Food came fast. Did not have cheesy music. Very clean. One of the best restaurants in Waukesha if not Wisconsin.
It's good. Service is fine and the food is fine. Nothing is awesome, nothing is terrible. The setting is interesting but the food needs to improve. There are many Mexican style options in the area. Time to up their game

Awesome local restaurant with phenomenal food and amazing service! I went earlier in the day (before noon). Amazing art throughout the restaurant and very clean!
