We were immediately greeted by a kindly old Greek man who welcomed us very warmly by saying "welcome to gyros west! How are you doing?" It was our first time here and after a long day of travel this made our day even before we got our food. It appeared to be a family effort to run this organized, clean and beautifully simple restaurant. We were immediately given our drinks by a johnny on the spot host,and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The crowd seemed to be a lot of regulars that the staff knew on a first name basis which is always a good sign. Our food came out very fast and we could tell it was very fresh and it was very delicious. Both the Greek food and the America food were very delicious. Our family very much enjoyed our dining experience. We recommend this restaurant highly!
after driving around looking for a place to sit us 3, we found Gyros I reserved the table online and we got there 20 min before and te owner or manage sit us right away, super great service everyone help each other to take care of the customers, the place was pack but we don't wait a lot for the food, plus the food was really good and good portion, even the kids menu is a lot. I just want to said thank you to them because it saved my mini vacation family.
We don’t come here often as it’s on the other side of town. I was ecstatic to see a low carb section on the menu! So, I had the three eggs and gyro meat. Delicious! It’s a few dollars less than an omelette as it doesn’t include potato or toast. My wife had a waffle with cherry topping and whipped cream. I sampled that and also delicious, but the carbs…The service was tops! Never an empty coffee cup. Our experience was truly five stars this morning.
Phenomenal service and food this morning at Gyros West. It was a Sunday morning, so understandably busy. Within a minute of us sitting down, the owner came over and apologized we didn’t have drinks yet and immediately brought us some (of course, this was no issue at all, we had just sat down!) Our order was taken very shortly after that by our waitress and the food was brought out in no time by another, tasting as delicious as it looked. It’s very clear they work as a team here and their top priority is making sure customers have a great dining experience. It’s very appreciated, and although I hadn’t been in a while, I can’t wait to come back. Thanks for the great service, friendly faces, and delicious food.
Long time staple of waukesha. We go for breakfast and dinner occasionally and have never been disappointed. The Greek skillet is great and so are their gyros. I usually get extra meat on mine and it's quite filling. Always a good dependable place to go eat. It does get a but busy Sunday mornings but the staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Soup Good,Service Good! Worst Gyro's Ever! Owner should go to Greecie Spoon in Sheboygan and Oakland Gyros in Milwaukee and find out how to make a Real Gyro. Or...remove Gyro from their name !!
As soon as we walked in the door, my fiancé, daughter and I were greeted by the friendly staff, who then let us pick where to sit. Then we were once again greeted by who we assumed was the owner, and he even brought over the high chair for us! Waitress then swiftly came and took our drink orders, and soon after brought us a lunch menu at our request. Frequent check ins between ordering our food, asking how it was and refilling my fiancé's coffee. The waiter who brought us our saganaki was super fun and made sure we saw the mini show with it. All the food was tasty, and very filling. As we were paying at the register, the guy offered our daughter a sucker (but first asked us if it was okay). Even though it was busy in there, everyone was helped so promptly. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!
The Gyro Supreme Dinner is my favorite. It's comes with the best Greek salad and enough gyro meat for 3 huge sandwiches. The owner greeted me at the door and waited on me promptly. It was full of customers. Great family owned diner.
WOW!! This is the place!! Today my husband ordered a Gyro Supreme online. The delivery service failed to bring the sauce. What's a gyro without sauce right? I called Gyro's West and explained the situation. The guy on the phone said he'd bring some right out. Leo, the owner, got in the car himself and drove 15 minutes to bring me my sauce!! Again...WOW!! My new go to place. Leo has restored my faith in customer service..he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied...not something that is found in our society today! Thank you Leo and Gyro's West for not only delicious food but outstanding customer service!!
Stopped in for a quick lunch. Food was great, came out very quickly. Service prompt and warm.Will definitely return.
