Most of the food is just meh. Many things are dried out from being under heat lamps too long. Steak was pretty good.

Quiet friendly place with a wide assortment of dishes to try. First taste of fried white fish was not warm but did get in on the second batch. Fried white fish, hush puppies, mixed greens, pasta with sauce. Then had fresh spinach with salad fixings, baked chicken and dessert chocolate cake with white frosting and cherries poured over and two small peanut butter cookies. Waitstaff was pleasant, however, we'll stick with the one on Layton where the food turns over more quickly.

Super friendly waitresses on top of helping you keep your cup full, and your used plates gone. Not all dishes are super amazing (as with all buffets) but I highly recommend trying the "awesome pot roast" and the fried chicken. A plate of each of those is worth the cost alone. I wish I would have tried a steak but we were on a long road trip and I'm kinda shy and didn't want to bother the cooks behind the counter. Maybe next time. Highly recommend if you like nostalgic American buffet experience!!

Most Horrible experience, we will never come back! Cashier in front was suppose to give us utensils, our drinks and a red tray but do not. He told us instead our server will give it to us when we sit at our table. When we sat at our table, the server ignored us and did not introduce himself immediately. We sat for about 10 minutes and server never showed up. So we went to get our food and return to the table but the server didn't show up with our drinks and utensils. At this point we were very upset because we had no utensils to eat our food with. So we had to walk up to the cashier and ask him for our drinks and utensils. The cashier was who was on his phone seemed to be very upset when we interrupted him and asked him to get our utensils and drinks. Keep in mind, everyone else who paid after us got their drinks and utensils from the cashier. During the time we ate, the server only filled our drinks one time! Food was old and very bland. Food looked and taste like leftovers and reheated. Food was not refilled, just stirred into another pan to be served. Steaks we're previously cooked and reheated when requested. Very disappointed in this buffet. We use to come here alot but it's definitely going way down hill. 0 stars!! I had to give one star to post this experience.

My brother took me here for lunch for my birthday. They have a good selection of food and dessert. It's best to get there when it first opens, when the food is the freshest.

Golden Corral is a fantastic family style restaurant masquerading as a buffet. The servers are friendly and the service is great. But what you really want to hear about is the food, right? The food is actually pretty tasty for a buffet. The variety is exceptional for the price no matter how much you eat, they just keep bringing more fresh food out. You’d think this would make for a messy environment, but you’d be wrong. The place is kept clean! No macaroni on these floors. Gather your family and go check them out.

I love golden corral, and this one in particular. The manager usually has great cooks and the food is primarily alway good. But there have been times I have come and it’s been hit or miss. For the most part the food there is great that’s why I don’t mind taking a chance but you get some days there where certain workers could care less and that’s when the careless acts of service take place with the food and the cleanliness. I’ve definitely experienced it both ways I can honestly say. But I really think the manager tries his best to do a good job in bringing quality people to the fold and good help is hard to find. Any help is hard to find nowadays. I understand the battle he faces on a daily basis and still manages to deliver almost 80 percent of the time, if not more, is remarkable.

There was a short wait. We took our grandbabies there for their birthday celebrations. The food was great. Good and friendly service. Restaurant was nice and clean and they took safety measures for Covid-19.

We had not been to a Golden Coral for a very long time, so we decided to give it a try. They have new shrimp dishes and grilled steak, which were both very good. I always love their salad bar, everything is fresh and crisp, and the dressings are good. We passed on desserts, except for a couple of chocolate chip cookies, and they were good too. They had gloves in many areas so you didn't have to touch the utensils. That was a great idea! We will go again sometime when we are really hungry! ?

The staff I had contact with were friendly today. Overall a good value, but the variety of main entrees/meat and desserts in particular seems to have been reduced in the last few years.Today I was flabbergasted when I witnessed FIVE different types of rice on the buffet at lunchtime. FIVE!! Plain white rice. Rice pilaf. I believe two more were Chinese fried rice and Cajun rice. Didn't look closely to see what the fifth type was. I do like a bit of rice where appropriate with my meal choices, but it's clear that offering 5 types of rice at the same time was serving the purpose of cheap and easy filler.Fried popcorn shrimp used to always be offered. Now I only see it once every 3 or so times I visit. The tasty battered onion rings and delicious cheesy au gratin sliced potatoes should be offered daily! Neither were on the buffet today sadly, no doubt thanks to the five kinds of rice.I've noticed that the diced onion and sliced cucumbers on the salad bar look consistently soggy and discolored -- past the point they should be served anymore. The 'peach cobbler' has become nothing but peach pie filling with a light sprinkle of oatmeal on top of it. No baked topping. Looks and tastes unappealing.
