Very tasty, great service!

I personally if I could give this resturaunt a 3.5. And it's not a bad resturaunt. Nice atmosphere. Food is okay. But the price doesn't match quality of food. Drink are 5 stars. And food is 3 stars for me comparing price. Mostly everything on the menu is 10.99..which isn't worth it to me. Go to a taco truck and get two tacos for 2.50 each or whatever. WAY more worth the price. In my opinion. But excellent drinks!!!

very good. medium margarita was ginormous. flavored margarita was not too sweet. food was freaking delicious

No, no, just no :/ We eat Mexican food ALOT and this isn't an establishment that we would ever go to again. There were several open tables in the restaurant around 630. Our sodas had zero carbonation. An appetizer took about 20 minutes and we waited an hour for our food. I get the whole... hard to get employees/being short staffed and totally understand. But when food is taking that long, an apology or ...your food will be out shortly, or ...we're short on cooks or some kind of explanation would've been appreciated. When we finally got our food, we weren't impressed. My tacos were okay, but the steak looked like chopped up dog food. My husband's burrito had a weird taste, like they washed the lettuce in soap or something. And my kid's chicken breast was definitely pre-cooked and sitting for awhile with a burnt taste. The rice and beans were even weird. Oh, and just because we aren't Hispanic doesn't mean we don't know when the employees are swearing in Spanish...Server was good, margarita was good, and the chips and salsa were good but we definitely won't be going back. Total waste of $90.

Waitress was very friendly and food was good. Had a combination platter and everything was fresh and tasted good. No complaints, will be back.

Great neighborhood Mexican restaurant! They have a large patio for those that enjoy dining outdoors. They have great happy hour deals and delicious margaritas. Chips and salsa with your meal when you dine in.

Food and service was excellent!

We used to love casa tequila and I understand that everything has been extremely hard since COVID, but boy are we upset that we spent $20 on two orders of this! The quesadilla is smaller than a clementine! The portion used to be the size of a small pizza. Needless to say we will not be going back :( quality is now poor and we feel ripped off big time.

We were regulars at this location for years. Mostly lunch, but would take advantage of their Margarita specials most often. Our last visit was early in May but the experience we had 2 weeks prior to that was the same. What happened? Instead of hand built and shaken Margaritas, they are now dispensed. Tequila is imperceptible and the drinks are watered down. Even the premiums. We sent the dispensed drinks back and asked for hand built. The waitress told us she tried the drinks we sent back and agreed they were “awful”. The hand built drinks were good—the way they used to be. Then there was the food. Refried beans were runny; almost as if they were trying to “stretch”’the yield. When you add too much liquid, the flavor suffers. My avocado tostadas were good—not great, but good. My husband’s chipotle chicken enchiladas were not. Very disappointing to him because this dish was one of his favorites there. He said the meat was under-sauced so it was dry and lacked flavor. The amount of sauce put over the top was also less than usual so the top became rather dry. Burying things under a mound of shredded cheese can’t disguise a poor product. We would rather see this restaurant raise their prices $.50 or $1 than cut back on how food and drinks are prepared. Then, the service issues. The room was busy but hardly packed. Two servers, a bus person and a Manager should have easily handled the number of tables. But if the servers felt overwhelmed, then it’s the Manager’s duty to touch each table to make sure everything is good and diners are happy. That didn’t happen either and we waited 50 minutes to get our check, give them a credit card to pay, and wait for it to be returned. The only reason we gave 2 stars rather than 1 was that the hand built Margaritas were good (but we had to request them) and my tostadas were good. Sorry, but that isn’t good enough to get us to come back. Life’s too short to eat badly prepared food.

Visited the Hartford location May 15th at 4pm. Horrible, Horrible service!!! Brought it to the server's attention and she told us we can pay and leave. So, we did! Will NEVER return.
