Had their macaroni and cheeseburger. Pretty good The patty itself was very tasty I would have like more cheese with the macaroni and cheese on the burger. The macaroni cheese that was on the burger could have used more cheese it also came with onion strings on the patty which were pretty good, the burger came with a side of Andrea's homemade potato chips which were good also. The waitress was a little bit loud but nice enough and very efficient I would not go out of my way to eat here again but if I was in the neighborhood I probably would stop

The Rooster is our primary go-to spot after work when we're ready to have some good bar food, excellent drinks, and a great time! It embodies the spirit of a great local Wisconsin bar.Whether it's a Wednesday hump day, Thursday "thank God tomorrow is Friday", or an honest to goodness TGIF, this place is a favorite for locals and you always seeing a lot of cars in the parking lot. That alone is always a good sign that a place does right by their clientele!Now, the sad news is that I'm moving on and away from the area, so I won't be stopping in as often at this quintessential Wisconsin watering hole. However, that just means there is one more seat during the week for the readers of this review to take advantage!
The char grilled walleye was so delicious. Best fish fry I’ve had in a long time!
If I could pick 4.5 I would, but I'm happy making it 5 stars. Food was very good, best sweet potato fries I've ever had (good crisp and still soft inside). Had the french dip and enjoyed it very much. Nice atmosphere for a roadside bar and grill, quiet enough to easily talk but also didn't feel like we were the only ones there. Food took a bit of time so plan accordingly, but worth the wait.
Burger was delicious with Cheddar & Blue Cheese + sweet potato fries. Service was fast & great. Coming back!

Our last experience was awful. The owner is rude!We had occasionally enjoyed a beverage and food here. A while ago, my husband played the gambling machines and won $120, but they didn’t have enough to pay him and told him to come back. There was no expiration date and no explanation as to how quickly it needed to be cashed in. We just went there for a fish fry and took the ticket which had the bartender’s name, my husband’s name, the amount, and a note that says “did not pay.” The owner would not honor it. Not only that, but when we spoke to her for further explanation, she started raising her voice, told us we were being unreasonable, and told us to leave and never come back. I told her not to worry; we won’t ever be back.
