Overall the place seemed slow and got seated right away. The person that sat us seemed annoyed or busy at first and also ended up being our waitress but then took awhile to order our drinks, bartender that had to go get her was very nice. To start off with my salad had a hair in it, the dressing was the worst Italian dressing I've ever tasted and my stuffed shells were overcooked and the sauce tasted as if it's been sitting all day. Just a bad experience all around. Being a first time person there in my 31 years of living in waukesha, I can honestly say I won't be back. Some good points, even though the bad outweighs them are, the bread was decent and my drink was great.
This my husband’s and my go to restaurant. Never disappointed. Best meatballs, sauce, pasta, antipasto EVER. And I adore the house wine. Live them
My wife and I popped in for a Tuesday night meal. Excellent spaghetti with clam sauce. Staff is always friendly. The owner frequently makes the rounds to check on customers and say hello, a rare treat these days.
Worked late and decided to try a second time. First visit I wasn’t too impressed with the food - burned eggplant parmigiana. 2nd visit- I sat at the bar and was ignored by the bartender Joey for a full 10 minutes as he stood directly opposite me chatting it up with his buddies. 2 other workers behind the bar cleaning but apparently not allowed to take orders or help a customer. I should have left because the food was mediocre. I had to ask someone to tap the bartender to see if he could take my drink order and the same for the food order. And then he wrote it down wrong, I complained to another person about how bad the guy was. Found out he was the owner…wow…. Don’t sit at the bar unless your a friend of his….unless he spends a little more time looking after the food and his other guests this place is going to lose their clientele.
We had another wonderful dinner at Albanese’s. Yes, spaghetti is probably the easiest Italian dinner to make at home, but, unless you try their spaghetti and meatballs, you’ll see why this is what I almost always order. The thick rich sauce, two filling meatballs an knowing I’ll have a hearty lunch the next day. Can’t wait to get back, and should add, great drinks and the wait staff is very friendly. Note: The price per son below is incorrect. Most prices are in the $15-$25 per person range.
What a fantastic Italian restaurant located in Brookfield. Great atmosphere and good food
Good Italian food, service is friendly. Highly recommended the pizza if you like thin crust style. Calamari portion is generous and large!
Fantastic food with some really unique items. The staff are friendly and willing to recommend their favorites.
