Moved to Steven's Point about a year ago, and this was my first visit to Guus and would have to say I'm quite impressed. The staff here is extremely polite, and was willing to accommodate a menu adjustment due to being sold out of their Ahi Tuna even during a very busy dinner rush. Our server was a delightful young lady who smiled constantly and even though she was swamped, never seemed to lose her cool. I ordered the grilled chicken Caesar salad and couldn't be happier...fresh greens and most importantly their croutons were not hard as rocks like most other restaurants. The chicken was juicy and tender and served with and breadstick that puts Olive Garden to shame...lol.
We ordered lunch on 5/24 for 12 to be picked up at 11:45. I am so happy all the food came in a recycled cardboard container vs styrofoam. The order was perfect, no mistakes!!! Wonderful service and food. Great Wisco Cheese Curd burger special!

After making a reservation on Open Table, we were informed once we arrived that they do not use Open Table. That was disappointing. We ended up spending almost 2 hours for some hamburgers.
Fish fry; date night. Had a 30 minute wait, we were fine. Bar staff very efficient and prompt. Our waitress was good and took our order quickly. We ordered shrimp scampi (?) and chicken wings as an appetizer. Our entrees arrived first; shrimp scampi uses linguine, not curly pasta. Our food was cold; we sent it back. Came back 10 minutes later, still cold (I handed a noodle to the waitress as proof). Then the wings arrived.The third time, the pasta had been zapped so many times, it was dry (but warm!). Had no flavor whatsoever.Asked for the manager on duty; was informed they don’t have one. No one offered to “make it right”, and the bill came for two entrees (both sent back).Not cool, Guu’s. We won’t be dining with you again (after all, Arbuckles is just around the corner).
It's a good bar. The price for the food is a little much to what you get. Even a side of fries are pricey for the amount you actually get. Food is decent kinda hit and miss. Burgers are decent but the nochas we got one time then my friend got were very different his was good ours were meh. But decent array of beer.
The BEST burger I’ve ever had and even my hard to please two year old loved everything, especially the cheese curds!!
Great food and drinks. The staff is always fantastic. They recently changed owners and since then the food has gotten even better. The mango habanero wings got spicier, now it's my go-to order!
Everything about this place. Service, drinks, employees, prices and seating are excellent. No more for me to say.
