Our group had vegetable fried rice, shrimp fried rice, and vegetable lo mein. In each of them, there was maybe a teaspoon's worth of vegetables, it was mostly rice or noodles. There was not any egg in either of the fried rice dishes. All were very bland, and the vegetables were barely cooked. Had a similar experience a few months ago with takeout as well.Also, when going in to get the takeout, the restaurant was run-down and dingy.
I took my son there for his last day in college, there was only a few things to eat for a buffet everything had run out and the people kept coming in. The food served was chicken and that wasn't very good. Not worth the money. I definitely wouldn't go there again. If you leave a restaurant and your still hungry I think there's a problem.
Been going here for over a decade. Food is great. The only thing I don't like is the egg rolls. Otherwise, the staff is nice, the food is fresh, the atmosphere is relaxed. Definitely a family favorite ❤️
Very nice for a small buffet. Enough variety for adults and for my little picky eaters. My kids like the egg drop soup, crab Rangoon’s (sweet and delicious), and pork on the stick. Good food. Friendly staff.
I went to eat here last night and watch a family walk in and request a booth due to it being easier for their child. The waitress straight up look the husband in the eyes and stated "The owner does not allow us to sit big people in the booth because they break them". I could not believe that was even said to them. I would like to add that this family was not big and fat people. This is absolutely unprofessional and just a horrible.
I used to go here all the time because the food was incredible. However, when I find this in my food and the owner tries to tell me that it is “a piece of broccoli”, that’s when I have a problem.
The flavors are increible I recommend 100% really Chinese food in buffet also it’s cheaper
I am changing my review of China Wok. I believe I was a little too quick to judge. Everybody can have an off day, and I can admit when I am wrong. I have been there twice since my bad experience and both times they have done an absolutely amazing job!! The food was fresh and hot. Very good flavor. The woman who is the hostess is very nice as well. And if you’re looking for great crab Rangoon’s they have some of the best around!! So I would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re coming through Stevens point or you’re a local looking for some good Chinese. ??
Nit the best Chinese food you can get in the area but is a good place to go to if you're hungry and want to feast on a buffet.
