Nice clean place with great service and food. Awesome view of the river.
We regularly would travel to Bullshead for the perch as it was our favorite place for it. What a disappointment to find it has been removed from the menu! We ordered the walleye instead. While large, it was extremely greasy, served in a pool of oil.
Probably will never go back to this place again.Sat at a table on the patio for 20min.and no server came to our table went in and got our own drinks waited another 30min. Still no servers stopped to see if we needed anything went and got another drink when that was gone Still no server left and will not go back again this was the second time in a month that this happened to us to bad it was a nice place at one time!!!!
We're camping this weekend and when it started raining last night we decided to eat at the restaurant instead of cooking inside the camper. The menu had zero options and the food was absolutely horrible. My fish was slimy and seemed very greasy for grilled. The kids chicken tenders smelled rotten and undercooked. My husbands shirmp was ok tho. It would be very difficult to ever give it another try.
Went and see the boat drags they have it was a awesome time! Very clean and well organized
Well for starters the bloody in a plastic cup for $8.00 is crazy and another $2 for 3oz beer shot- was not told ahead of time that the chaser was an extra cost. In the past you would get some mozzarella whips and a full beef stick and a full piece of cheese not a little cube of each. We ordered 4 fish fry's and one had no rye bread and one piece of fish was raw. We did let the wait staff know and she apologized but that's it. I would think that they would have given us a little price break. I don't know when or if we will be going again.
My wife and her friend each ordered the Brew House Sampler. It has onion rings, mozzarella sticks, shrimp, mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, and chicken strips. What came was two giant orders of French fries, 2 small mozzarella sticks, 3 small burnt onion rings, fried unseasoned mushrooms, and limp unseasoned fried broccoli. No shrimp, no chicken, no jalapeño poppers. When this was addressed with the server she said they had recently switched to a different prepackaged mix. We had to repeatedly ask for the samplers to be removed from the bill. In addition to the food debacle, the service was glacial. It took 45 minutes to bring out the samplers even though there were 4 other people in the bar. No one ever came to refill our drinks, and no one bothered to apologize for the food issue. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a bar in Wisconsin.
Very cool location right on the river. They had the basic tap beer selection and a full bar. Looked like there was only one or two waitstaff working but they handled all of the tables pretty well considering it was quite busy. We started out with the pot roast nachos which I thought was a unique nacho topping. They had a good amount of cheese and sour cream but could have benefitted from some red onion and tomato. The fish fry was top notch. It looked like the fillets were deep fried with capers (?) not sure if that added much flavor but the beer batter overall was very good. My husband ordered the duck tenders which were a little dry but he still picked at them. The menu was large and I was tempted by the mahi mahi salad so we might have to stop again on our next trip up north!
My husband and I were looking forward to eating at Bullshead and when we got there we decided to eat indoors as we had been outdoors all day. I don't know how many people were outside eating, but it took forever for the waitress to come. We placed our drink and meal order at the same time - Thank God! The waitress (if you can call her that) brought us the drinks and we never saw her again (all though she had plenty of time to talk to customers at the bar). Our prime rib dinner arrived by a different staff member, only to ask what happened to our salad/soup (how hard is it to make a salad and pour soup into a bowl?). Asked if we needed anything else and asked for several items. The waitress was talking at the bar when the light bulb went on and realized she hadn't delivered our requested items. However, the bill arrived in a timely manner. The prime rib dinner was excellent, the service very poor. At some point, I hope your employees need to pass a customer service class to be employed there.
Good drinks, great ppl, incredible views
