Second time eating here and it get better and better. Menu with great italian food, Aged Steaks etc. Nice bar to wait for dinner or you eat there. Very Nice selection of italian wines. Very busy as expected, so need reservations if possible or you will have to wait 30-60 minutes to get a table....
Make sure to reserve ahead.The food is great. You can tell that the food was made in house and from scratch. I had the veal and it was cooked perfect.The environment was a bit crowded but not a major issue. The staff seemed to all know each other well and were very friendly.
Our first time at Trattoria Stefano and we would definitely return. Service was friendly, professional and efficient...in fact maybe too efficient as our meal went by more quickly than we would have liked it to, but nonetheless, we enjoyed everything thoroughly. Their wine list is very good and quite extensive. We ordered the salad rustica which was delicious with their fresh baked bread. We both ordered the fish of the day which was a pan-seared halibut over beans and greens - it was cooked perfectly and had a delicious spicy kick to it. We look forward to our next visit to try their pastas and we would highly recommend while in Sheboygan!
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The host was friendly and said our table was ready. The space is cozy and comfortable. Brandon was our server... a quirky, friendly and knowledgeable guy. He explained many of the entrees. The menu had so many great entrees to pick from, plus the wonderful specials. Brandon also helped pick our wine. We also liked that the host came by to ask how things were going. Our selections were delicious and we split the lemon dessert which was yummy. Can't wait to come back.
This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to. Everything was outstanding.The veal shanks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious.If you know of a better tiramisu please tell me where it is.Excellent wine list.
This is the best, real,Italian food I’ve had almost anywhere, even Italy. Our waiter was very intertwining and informative. The wild boar and veal shanks were amazing. Prices are not cheap, but it’s worth it.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. It was our first time there and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and had great suggestions for us. Will definitely return.
Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. The service was amazing! It is a very comfortable place to eat and the food was exquisite. The quality and presentation of the food exceeded our expectations and surpassed what have experienced at most restaurants in the eastern part of Wisconsin.
Nice venue, helpful staff, fairly efficient and quick 4 of us, one just had salad, two had halibut special, one beef special. Halibut was over spaghetti squash, ok, but kinda plain, needed something more. Beef was tenderloin, over beans, with a nice sauce and crusted with marrow and spices. Very good. Desserts were kinda foofoo -- cheesecake and a butterscotch boudino (pudding) which was better than the cheese cake. Not sure we got their best showing with what we ordered.
Absolutely delicious, everything was perfect I was in town on a business trip. I will make the hour half drive again just to eat here. The food was fantastic, having lived in Italy for a few years I know good Italian food and this place nailed every aspect. Thank you for the wonderful food and wonderful service.
