Great, speedy, friendly service patty was awesome and so informative about the menu items.
Old school supper club vibe and we enjoyed it. The salad bar was fresh and cold, delicious and perfect selections. Our NY strip was perfectly cooked medium. Had a chicken dish that was quite good but pretty sweet with an orange glaze sauce. Our particular server was pretty dismal. She seemed angry to be there and annoyed with her job. We tried to lighten the mood with her a bit but she didn't seem to care. That was disappointing but overall the food was really good.
I loved the food and service here. Old school supper club. Ambiance is not as flashy as some, but I thought the food was really well done and appreciated the supper club classics - salad bar, soup/potato with every entree, brandy old fashioned. Had the rib-eye, walleye, escargots, all three soups (incl. baked French onion). Can’t go wrong!
Food and salad bar really good. our waitress was super nice and friendly. Bartender not so much. Needs to work on his people skills.
Went to Rupps on a whim and I am.gpad I did! The inside and outside are very clean, have a nice warm atmosphere and is very pleasant to the eye. The service is pretty good, nice and swift and attentive as needed. The food itself was stellar! I got some Beef Meatball Italian Wedding Soup and it was hard NOT to wolf down as a starter. As my main course I got a reubon sandwich with frys and both were very tasty! My only complaints are the dessert I got could have had LESS strawberries on it and the prices were slightly steep but aside from that? My family and I went to Rupp's for my birthday. The service and food were great. The onion rings are amazing. Classic salad bar, very good. My steak was done perfectly. The rum cake was on point. The brandy old fashioned and grasshopper was also a great treat. Solid supper club atmosphere!
If you like well done steak with ketchup for 50$ a person go here! Tried to tell them about my experience before leaving a review only to be ignored. You’d be better off going anywhere else
We ordered takeout, which they do not deliver. The rib eye steak was seasoned well. Ribs were average. Disappointed as I watched the server assemble their "Famous Rum Cake" which the server pulled out a pre-made Sarah Lee store bought poundcake. I would have expected a restaurant of this caliber to make their own bakery. The order taker, over the phone, touted the "Sheboygan Brat cheese Soup" which was a disappointment. Very little flavor for the hype. Fair price for the meal.
My steak was excellent, perfectly prepared. Soups were weak. Salad bar is always a favorite part of the supper club experience and this one did not disappoint. Server was good but got overwhelmed for a bit. Little on the expensive side, for our area, but a good meal overall.
