Visiting the area we went here tonight for dinner I will start by saying multiple People in our party have been in the service industry and waited on people before. We understand during these times that places are short staffed overworked and underpaid. However, I have never been treated so rudely by an establishment by multiple employees. Our dinner reservation was at 5:30 PM we did not get our food until 745. There were multiple tables around us that got their food well before us. After the first hour of waiting for our food we began asking the waiter when we could find him how long it would be before we were fed. He tried to be as accommodating and asked us what He could do to make our time better, my father asked for another glass of wine a few times but never received it. One of the oil bottles was accidentally knocked off the table and we asked one of the bus boys if we could get someone to clean it up or at least provide some thing and that was not done there were shards of glass over the floor and oil close to our our children were all sitting. A different server came over at a time asked If we grew up in a barn and that normally customers clean up after themselves. She told us also that we were awful as she walked away from the table. As my husband and I walked out with two of our children she then asked us where are you from then she saw her license plate from Illinois and said oh it explains a lot. If you are visiting the area from Illinois I strongly suggest you stay away from this establishment their staff is arrogant rude and do not know how to Execute customer service especially When issues arise for their customers. There is no reason why pizza and pasta should take two hours to make. Food is mediocre at best their minestrone soup was mushy and we had to ask several times for bread. Stay away!
Ordered the bruschetta. It was very dry and the bread was hard. So were the slices of bread we had before our meal. Very tough and not much flavor. The simple salad was ok. But kinda bitter. The pizza was good but not worth 18 dollars. It wasn’t even hot ! The waiter was nice and very personable.
Pizza was great from the wood fire oven. We also had halibut that was very tasty and cooked perfectly.
Always an amazing experience. Really good flavors that you don't expect would go well together. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff about the menu when you have questions. And very good pasta basics offered on the menu if you're not feeling like trying something fancy.
Great pizza with huge selection. The toasted bread is a fondue and then the tiramisu !!!! I keep returning for more???? it's just like going to Italy!!!
Nice restaurant. Excellent services. We loved the pizza and each had a different one.
This is the casual sister restaurant to the outstanding high-end Trattoria Stefano across the street. We stopped by this place on a Saturday afternoon for relaxing lunch. We opted to sit at the bar and were immediately impressed by the hard-working friendly bartender who took the rime to educate us about amaro. Never heard of the Italian herbal liquor before. He is truly an outstanding employee. We each order a pizza, one white, one red. Both were amazing. One was the Valdostana, a while, pizza with a bacon, garlic and onion with a slight smoky flavor. The other pizza was the Giuseppe, a red pizza with a creamy Mascarpone, tomatoes and sausage with a bit a kick. Excellent. Two beers, two pizzas was about $65 with tip. Highly recommend
Excellent, very busy. Highly recommended, I’m from Italy and this makes me feel like I’m in Witaly.
Love Elliot!! I love the environment here! I’m not an avid reviewer but everyone here was so kind. I ended up talking to the person next to me and they paid for our meal. Even if the food was horrible (which it’s not, it’s quite amazing) I would still come here for the company.
One of the best dining experiences in Wisconsin. I had it for the first time last year and had the Calabrese Con Mile pizza and it was one of those rare transcendant food experiences. I couldn't stop talkig about it for an an entire year until I came back and was reminded how phenomenal it is. Drinks, appetizers and pizza is all out of the world.
