We normally go there on Friday for there fish fry. I have always liked there all you can eat fish fry. I like the breading they use on the cod. It has always been real good. The ast 2 times we have been there. I don't know if they changed head cook's in the kitchen or what. But it's been the worst fish fry I have had in a long time. When I can barely eat the fist fish given to me. There is a problem. So we have not been back after telling them how we felt.
When I first moved to this area full time in 2019, I did frequent this restaurant. Now that I know my way around town. I learned. The portions are good. The taste/flavor needs to improve abit. I am not a cook but I respect great taste. I understand territory dictates. A great location. Many seniors, which is fine cause we all get old. It is good for that basic establishment.
Husband and I just moved to the area. We stopped about a month ago while moving. Great food. Great prices. Great people. We go every Friday for fish fry and Saturday morning for breakfast.
River Run is a nice restaurant to take family to the service friendly, they have a good menu selection, and the food is enjoyable with a wide selection. River Run is quaint, comfortable environment. The decor mskes me think of a old River boat.
Not very well seasoned at all, and the wait staff was fairly inattentive. The prices were a little high but not terrible. All in all, I have no real reason ever to go back. They are sure to be better breakfast spots.
Have loved this place for years. Whole menu is good, breakfast served all day. Fish fries to salads to dinners to just chili and grilled cheese sandwich, it all works. Comfortable for everyone, groups and families to just walking in alone. Try it!
Food looks delicious but lacks flavor otherwise overall is very nice waitresses are very friendly too
I really enjoyed the food here. Their sausage was very flavorful to my taste and my eggs were cook just the way I like them scrambled medium. I liked the pancakes taste and texture as well hearty yet very fluffy. First vist for me and I will definitely go there again. Oh yeah, a ten to the servers very attentive and friendly.
River Run has always been my mom's and my favorite place to go eat together. The staff is super friendly and the food is fantastic! The waitresses are always quick to make sure they take dishes off the table when you finish, and they pay attention to refilling your beverage before you run out. It's a family atmosphere and worth every penny ❤
Great family run business. Always great food and their service is top notch. I went for breakfast today, and we got our food rather quickly. I'd recommend stopping in for a great meal at a great price
