I would like to apologize for giving this 5 stars, but i can't be the only person experiencing this.This is honestly a garbage popeyes branch that needs to either change a owner or just shut down for good. I waited in line for about 10 mins, no response from the speaker(?). The lady from the car in front of me told me that another guy order food online (already paid) and have been waiting for 40 mins at the drive through counter but no one showed up.I then asked the lady how she order her food and she said she haven't, and they have been waiting there for 30,40 minutes but still there is no one to respond anything.All of a sudden, an employee from the speaker finally decided not to play dead and told us that they cannot take orders because they are short of hands so is currently closed.This is just ridiculous, to a point I find this funny instead of being mad. There are five cars waiting in the driveway but no employee said anything until now?If you are an employee here, sorry but I don't think you can call yourself employed. You are not really doing anything.If I were you, I would be extra careful when I'm wearing the uniform outside. Who knows, some careless driver might accidentally run you over.If you want some fried chicken, look away, unless you consider yourself lucky.
Been sitting in line for 45 minutes now...in the drive thru. Haven't even taken my order, said "we'll be right with you," nothing. 45 fricken minutes for some chicken. This place is absolutely garbage. Update:Still waiting, I have seen 7 cars leave the line because of wait time. Total wait time is 57 minutes and still no food. My order was a 16 piece family meal. 47 bucks. At this point its been over a dollar a minute just in wait time alone!!!!
We are done going to this Popeyes in Racine. Every time we go there there is a major problem and we never get food after waiting for over 30 minutes. Even if we pre-pay on the app, we still do not get the food. They stand inside and lock the doors and will not talk to us while there’s 20 cars in line in the drive-through. They shut off the lights. One time they just said their systems were down. Another time they claim they ran out of food. The customer service is horrible. We love Popeyes and the food but this location is the worst restaurant service we’ve ever seen. We know times are tough right now with staffing but this is beyond Covid issues. Do not go here.
I’ve tried to eat at this place several times, and each time it’s something different. Today I went to the drive through at 11:45am, and was told they weren’t ready to serve customers because their food wasn’t ready. The last time I was there only the drive through was open, and cars hadn’t moved in the line for 10 minutes. Who is in charge and why are they in charge? Go to KFC instead.
They stole $36 and some change from me. Twice now, I ordered food and they did nothing to update their menu from my first order. They sent the driver there to find out there were no mashed potatoes and no biscuits. They did nothing to find a substitute or remove it from their menu. Seeing as this was two thirds of my order aside from 6 chicken tenders.. I told the driver to cancel the order due to their negligence of having the courtesy of simply removing an item that has been out of stock for over a week and a half. I find it distasteful that a company can't refund the money when they don't update their menu accordingly. Also, restaurants should not be "accepting" orders that contain only one third of what is in stock. And let's be honest, this popeyes specially is garbage compared to the one on Washington. No class. No customer service. Do better.
The manager handled issue very well, but one of the employees couldn't control her mouth while interacting with a customer that happened to be already taken care of! The shortage on menu items EVERYTIME I visit this establishment! Again the new manager deserves a chance to make it right at this location. Congratulations to your promotion and hope everything goes well
Safety first- be careful when you walk on the floors in the dining room. They are greasy slippery. Clearly they are mopping the kitchen and the dining room with the same mop. Also, one of the emergency exits was blocked by a pallet of supplies. Some food was fresh, some cold and smashed. The staff was friendly, but wait time was quite long during dining in. Also, we ordered 5 classic chicken sandwich meals. Somehow one was made as spicy. Fortunately I like spicy, and one of my kids didn't get it. It's HOT! The fries in our meal were literally just put in the bottom of the meal bag. No fry pouch or anything. Maybe that is normal, we usually don't order the combos.
I love Popeyes but NOT this location at all. The food is good but the service is so extremely slow. I shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for them to take my order every time when there’s only one car in front of me. Workers are nice but something needs to change. You’d have a lot more business if it wasn’t so slow.
This is the third time I came to this location to get turned away! I understand everyone is short staffed, but this has happened way too many times . They close almost two hours before closing on multiple occasions. When I was told they were closed I advised that the website says they close at 10 and the answer I got was yeah we closing early today! Another time they ran out of chicken supposedly! What place that Sells chicken runs out?? I will never go to this location. They are very rude sounds like I'm bothering them when ever I try to place an order.
i love Popeyes just not this location. every time i go to this Popeyes it's worse than the last time. The last 2 spicy chicken sandwiches i got from this location on 2 different trips were inedible.The hwy 20 location never disappoints.
