Unfortunately, Kewpees is not the same experience it used to be. Interior is the same inviting diner that screams amazing greasy spoon. The burgers were not what I remember. During this trip the burgers were dense and a little tough and lacking flavor. There is a Spot in Kenosha that you might have better luck with finding a delicious burger.
The quintessential All-American burger joint! Hamburgers, fries, malts, chili...what more could you want? The interior atmosphere (laden with kewpee doll memorabilia) looks unchanged since at least the 1950s, and that's a great thing! My boyfriend and I visited here, as his family has deep roots in Racine and we were in the area. Couldn't have been a more perfect lunch. Eating burgers and drinking malts in the same spot his great-grandparents sat decades ago made for a nostalgic and enjoyable time. Thanks for keeping Americana alive!

Have been trying to call for months and no one answers. I live two blocks away and since no one answers I go to Park Inn. For years we ordered once or twice a week. Now I haven't had one since last year.
Everytime I go they’re closed. What a joke of a way to run a business. Call during regular business hours, make sure to check online business hours, and still 4/5 times they are just closed. So disappointing, food was such a hit. Can’t even get it anymore. It’s like they don’t want to make money.
