Ordered 2 BFG'S asked for extra tziki sauce for both. When I went to pick up asked again and the lady at the counter said she even made sure there was. Get home and both have 0 tziki sauce. 2nd time it's happened this month. No point in calling about because the lady who answers the phone just gets rude. Probably just not even going to waste my money with them anymore. Plenty of other places still sell gyros.
Delicious food, never leaves you wanting. Always hits the spot. Legit quality food! Been a fave of mine for years since friends brought me it at work one day. Best surprise ever! Please be good to them, i love their food. But they're far so i dont get gus's gyros more than once every 6 mo, be nice to them they are often very busy plz!. Totally a local fav and hotspot! ❤️
I had my reservations about the place because a lot of restaurants I've gone to in Racine have five stars, but they were not that great. This one seems to be different.First off, I would like to start with my gripes. No ketchup was offered (I was a bit salty I forgot to ask and left already) even though I ordered fries. Turn off.The BFB is smaller in person. Probably about 4" tall compared to their 6.5" (advertised) picture online. The fries were super short. Like somebody purposely gave me the leftover scoops at the end of the shift.But...The food? I believe the kids these days say, "BUSSIN"!The BFB was delicious. The sauce on it was perfect, and the burger turned out to be a perfect serving size....the price was $11 which is extremely modest. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cute and pleasant. Like an old fashioned diner. And cozy, clean. The person who greeted me was warm and professional. Not ghetto at all.Due to price, taste and professionalism, this place won my heart. I will be returning.
Their original gyro was okay but not great. Meat was super dry and not enough sauce to make up for it. The Saganaki was greesy brick of cheese and do not recommend at all. The mozzarella sticks were mediocre, not great but not terrible either. Only item worth recommending was the Cheesehead Style which is a gyro covering in melted cheese and onion rings so kinda hard to mess up.
Be prepared to bring some leftovers home! Both because it's so delicious, and portion size. Bonus: they have Diet Mountain Dew. They have a basic menu, but they do it all right.. And that's all that matters. Don't forget to read the rules while you're there.
Gyros are delicious! But their French fries are just soggy with grease. They use fresh potatoes and don't par cook them first, so they are just grease sponges. They soak through the bag before you get it home.
Years ago they were really good, some foods may be yet good. I had the fish, it was different hard and dry, very greasy. The service was great ?
This place is not worth the prices...fries aren't even included. Past that customer service skills are horrible. False advertisement on the website as the prices are 3-4 dollars more than advertised. Food is good but definitely not worth that price. Will not be returning.
We had our first awful experience with this place after years of getting food here. The pricing on the website is not even close to accurate. The prices are 30% higher than the menu on their website says. They forgot part of our order and when we returned to pick up what was missed, it was wrong again! The food here is good, but between the service and increased prices (Over $8 for just the "little cheeseburger") there are better places to get a bite in the area.
Paid just over $15 for a single patty bacon cheeseburger meal (fries drink) litterally no difference then a $2 bacon cheesebuger from mcds. Fries have no seasoning at all. Ill never go there again.
